    trust me on this one.

    its true.

The sad part is, that most players have no clue of the other classes.

    Trust me on this one.

@Arundo just a small correction. Lvl 50 is not max lvl VR10 is or as any other game would have called it lvl 150.

    Level 50 = VR1

VR1-10 is adding 9 more levels, so in game technically VR10 is equal to level 59 (unless my head is messing with me and i am making a fool of myself publicly on the forums).

1 VR level is like 10 normal levels :)

You can call it lvl 59 if you want but with exp scaling per lvl VR10= worth 150 lvls of progressed scaling exp. Also your own factions zone = lvl 50 so take 2 more factions zones and viola you have lvl 150.

I don't mind, but give exp for exploration. And a +1 point we can put into our three stats of choice. That would equal progression and make exploring worthwhile again. And it would solve the charter not growing problem.

Why should monsters grow from v1-10 and our skills won't In the end we will have same stats and probably the five to tem same skills we used from lvl V1-10. That is not growth, just another form of Korea button bashing.

do like the quest and all, but will find little replay value or making a new toon.

All the QQ brigade should open up their mind a bit.

This is the first MMO where you can go through every factions campaign.

Takes time but it is fun. More content. Steady leveling. Lots of skyshards lots of quests and lots of things to see.

Play an MMO for fun not just for rushing to an endgame. Leveling is finite and endgame lasts until the next level cap is lifted, often for years.

Oh and don't forget to get a nice social pve guild to share the leveling up with.
Just an idea, so many QQ about it that they should be able to help each other out.

But no, probably not.... not enough to QQ about if they make freinds, I guess. What a sad fact of MMO life for the minority that cannot get past soloing. You have my sympathy.

Got it yet ? 10 ranks spread over 2 full campaigns. I hope you understand.

So now more content is a bad thing?!

You should enjoy the game and leveling... if you don`t leave don`t ask them to change the game for you....

You dont get it, dont you? How many times do I or others have to point it out for stubborn individuals like you? Leveling is not more content. Leveling is a timesink, an expensive timesink. People who play MMOs usually dont want to quest over and over again. They want to pvp, raid, dungeons ...get gear, that sort of stuff. Questing is ALWAYS linked to lelveing. It is simply a mind thing. When I hear quests, I think leveling. When I think leveling, I know my character is still not ready for endgame. The more levels they introduce the less endgame is there. Because endgame starts when your character is done leveling. That's the sole definition of endgame and TESO clearly has none of it atm.

Oh and for those smartypants out there. When I speak of people I usually address the average player. And statistically speaking, I am right. Dont care for outliers.

The reason why people play WoW, for example, is not because WoW has such an awesome leveling experience and no endgame. Just saying.

I can't be more happy than this with the idea behind experience all the content with your main. Why should I do alt just to see the story in that fraction? Now I'm doing the quests in a zone scaled to my level. Get nice rewards. Get skill points. Get a lot of gold and doing this on my main. It's not hard it's even easier now. When I know how my character function. When I have the skills and the gear. It was a lot harder for me at lvl 15 than on v2.

They should have just stopped at 50, and opened the rest of the world for exploration if so desired. Making it mandatory with almost no character progression has killed it for me.

I have no more desire to play my VR5 character. I'm actually having more fun playing a new character from 1-50 again.

    In 'your' opinion.
Many players (myself included) enjoy questing. You may also want to consider that many MMOs (at the players request) implement daily quests. These have 'nothing' to do with levelling and in fact there more for enjoyment and 'endgame fluff' !

Damn, in one sentence you managed to alienate so many players AND prove with just one sentence... "I am right. Dont care for outliers".... how little your opinion matters to 'real gamers

Nothing to do with that fact its been the market leading MMO for a nearly decade. And even now has more paid subs than any other MMO in existence!
When ESO (or any other game) can make such claims then we should be disrespectfull of WoW.

Fully agree. The VR content has spoiled the possibility of levelling an alt (for me)
Wish I'd have rolled a new character before doing VR content. Yet saying that not doing VR is going to make Craglorn and other new content almost impossible. Zeni really did manage to screw this one up, even if by accident.

No.. that's pretty much our strongest attack. What you obviously haven't seen is the bit where we don't manage to kill them. Then as soon as they come after use we're screwed.. end up dead (again) and end up with a massive repair bill (again)....lol

@Darkro Ive played grindier games and had more sense of progression than I do here. Especially considering the amount of visible progression you have leveling TO vet ranks.

Once you get to VR1 it feels like a dead stop. THAT is the problem.

Yep true. I don't mind the difficulty so much ( though bloody hell its hard) I just think they should reduce the amount of xp needed per level a bit

Not even that really. Just goes from regular, visible character progression to full stop.

Thats just badly thought design. I could understand if the whole game was slow, but that hard stop is just.. ugh.

Then (using your wiki definition) would it not be better to call a 'veteran' somebody who has been playing ESO for a long time, say 1 year+

NOT somebody who has been levelling the same bloody character for that year....lol

It doesnt even take a year unless you play casual. there are only like 120h of content per faction. 360h for VR10 without grinding doesnt sound shabby to me.

I miss the times where it took several months to max lvl even if you played hardcore. Now people complain if they dont have max combat lvl, max crafting level and legendary gear after a month. its really sad

If you wanted to play a game where leveling wasnt hard or took time, maybe you should have waited a year or so before purchasing this game? In the first few months of every game, its not about the endgame, its about leveling to give even the dummest player a chance to get up to speed with game mechanics and the story... I didnt know ANYTHING about this universe, and I enjoy things being a little slow, so that I can learn about the history/storyline and so on. If you dont want to be a part of the upcoming in a game, dont.
  • Kn1ghtmare
I dunno what people are complaining about, I hit vet5 just by casually completing story quests and dungeons at my own pace, and the odd PVP thrown in here and there. I think the Vet area's are a nice change of pace from the easy mode of level 1-50....which is my general opinion now that Ive tasted Vet content in solo mode....and holy hell does it get challenging. I hope they continue to up the ante and give us more vet levels, cause we only continue to get stronger and stronger....anyone who thinks that a Reg lvl 50 player in PVP is on the same level as a Vet 10 is ridiculous....Have you SEEN the gear that drops or can be crafted for Vet 10....can't wait to get there
  • Kn1ghtmare
Oh additionally I can get about 1 rank every 3 days, or something like that, only took me 2 days to get from 4 to 5....seriously just do the dungeons and quests you are given.

VR - Forcing you to do every quest, every dolmen and every world boss to progress to the next rank and to top it off, you have to clear TWO factions worth of quests. But there is the second choice, you can go for the old korean mmo experience by grinding 1000000000000000 mobs.

    Elder Scrolls Grind,
not a true TES game at all.

I'm VR 9 now, and I'm so god damn sick of doing quesssssssssssstsssssssssss.

Hmmmm why rush? I mean, really. This is the attitude of people I see in many MMOs that have an impatient attitude. All they see is the destination - not the journey. So you "HAVE" to do other faction quests?

It's an MMO. It's a bit more 'realistic' in some things (fall damage immediately comes to mind).
In WoW, I could fall from a pretty high place and still survive.
    In ESO, - BANG! Dead.

Veteran Content is designed to challenge you and your character build.
When leveling ANY toon, the style of play and the stat priorities change.
In other MMOs, healing is dead easy while leveling. Cast the occassional heal on the tank, top up everyone else, and you're golden.
But when you hit Level Cap - 5 levels, it all changes.
Mana requirements don't scale at the same rate. Damage spikes increase.
    It's DIFFERENT.
End content builds are almost always different.

And it's an MMO. You aren't meant to be able to Solo EVERYTHING.
Sure, small mobs of 2-3 are okay. But it's designed to be run with a group - at least 2 people.
Join a guild. Run with friends. Wait for random players to show up and run with them.
[Hard Mode Dungeoneers] is recruiting all players of all levels for this new Guild.
THIS IS A NEW-BUT-GROWING GUILD. We are focused on doing vet pledges, vet dungeons, getting achieves, & doing hard mode bosses.
Most active GMT+10 (Australia time zone) in the afternoon Mon-Fri and all day Sat/Sun.

Oh yea.. I HATE trying to KILL two people solo and DIE multiple times cause one is a HEALER like me. Can't overcome healing myself while one beats me to death and the other heals themselves.. That is some stupid crap.

Wow, you are an angry little healer aren't you? I'd suggest developing your character to do more then just heal. This is a deck building game where you will need to be adaptable in the end game or face some really difficult times trying to play. You know you do get two cast bars, why not dedicate one to either a dps or tank build? Or maybe just a general utility questing build, whatever you want to call it. The point is, you need to Adapt! That's the beautiful part of this game is that it forces you into area's you are less comfortable in order to get you developing skills you've neglected. Trust me on this you are going to need them down the road.
While I do agree with you that everyone needs to split skills... I have to point out that I HAVE ADAPTED... In fact I've got 50 on both Two DPS skill lines and Two Healing skill lines and split quick launch that includes 2 DPS, 2 Heals, 1 Light. Dropping Volcanic Rune on the pair to keep interrupt going. Only on a FEW select MOB's I've had this issue, mostly when the DPS of a 2 pack is non-stop hitting me (Ranged) and healer just keeps healing herself to full. I've downed several dungeon bosses solo even with my player so it's not a L2P issue, but instead certain combos in game are not viable to down with a mostly healer build.
