The class will be over powered for the first few months then it'll get adjusted, after that it should be clear which option, magic or stamina will be best. I'm stock piling xp scrolls, recipes, companion gear, etc. Instead of selling it all I just toss it in the bank. I'm not sure how much I'd use the new companions but at least my main/crafter Za'Dar will pick both of them up while exploring the lands. I haven't gone on the test sever and have tried to learn as little as I can about the new chapter. Once I did real play testing and reporting issues for Clockwork City and it basically ruined that chapter for me. I don't want to be burnt out on Necrom before it drops. I have a feeling that for me, playing mostly Khajiits and Bretons, Necrom will be fun to run a few characters through but after that, it'll become routine to the point of boredom grinding.
Still looking forward to heading out with Ember and Donkey to explore (and loot) new lands.
I'm not sure why you are saying Arcanist will be OP at launch and then nerfed later, when it's not even OP on PTS now. Also, it's designed to be a hybrid, as ZOS has said, "different from existing classes", so I doubt that will change. It's really the first class I can comfortably run with a mix of Light and Medium armor and spec'd into all Stamina for both staff and DW builds. When I tried spec'ing all magicka, my resource management was horrible, but going the other route and mixing armor and glyphs, I found success. But as for damage, it is definitely middle of the pack or less, unless you use very specific gear, and even then it's still not the top. I think it's better than when Warden launched, as it was horrible, but not sure how it compares to Necro at launch as I had stepped away from ESO during that time.

I got my Arcanist leveling gear and even his PvE gear ready when he hits CP.
No rush to do this though, Midyear kind of burned me out so I am playing other games rn.

I am currently a pauper, and whilst that is very immersive and whatnot, I like having gold to buy motifs and furnishings that I'll never use but I should definitely buy them because maybe I'll need them one day!
So, I am in the market for gold-grinding options if anyone has ideas?
With ESO+ it is 5.1k per character per day, so 92k each day if you do 18 character's dailies(excluding selling the other rewards and only counting the gold). But yes, this is the way to get gold, thiefing is another! But practically anything in this game grants you gold, just a bit slower.LukosCreyden wrote: »I need to start earning some gold.

Multiple chars and daily crafting writs. At 50, it is around 6.5k gold per char. I do 15 characters, which is roughly 100k a day.
Yeah, I'm an ARPG player too(D1, D2, PoE, etc), so I was kinda bummed they sort of have the same release date. But with everything I've seen from D4, I'm totally not interested in that one(same mistakes as D3). May get it once it is on a very large sale somewhere at some point in time. Because I still want to play it at some point.IWinWithPewPew wrote: »Uhm diablo iv, i'm not preparing !but i probably will come back one day
You can't post this and not have screenshots ready!!So far I've chosen a race and a name for my Arcanist and built them a library and Hermaeus Mora temple grounds (still need Apocrypha furnishings to come yet though and I'm not sure it wasn't all for my own benefit tbh LOL). Will be building up transmutes for any new gear I need. I've been holding off doing any of the HM overland quests and the Prologue to fill in my new character's "path of exploring/learning" for when Necrom drops.

With. Have that one activated on all my characters, as I did dailies on all of them for two years.SeaGtGruff wrote: »With ESO+ it is 5.1k per character per day, so 92k each day if you do 18 character's dailies(excluding selling the other rewards and only counting the gold).LukosCreyden wrote: »I need to start earning some gold.

Is that with or without the CP perk that increases how much gold you get from all sources?
