The results so far seem intriguing to me, since I was expecting to see more people who do grind for coffers. That expectation was based on the number of threads and posts in the past which have complained about grinding for coffers but not finding any-- or very few-- of the outfit style pages and other event-only items. I had gotten the impression that a lot of players grind for coffers, not just on their main character, but also on their alts.
I think I would probably grind for more coffers if my bank and inventory weren't so full already. I'll probably spend a few days cleaning them up, so I can do at least a little bit of grinding on my main.
Probably like me, I used to try to get as many as possible, but as many said the rewards aren’t worth the effort anymore. To quote Michel de Montaigne (1580) "the flame is not worth the candle". In other words, the time expended gives one nothing worth the effort expended.
I thinking the rewards are fairly decent-- but it really matters whether you're interested in them at all to begin with, and it can seem like the rewards are too skimpy for those who are interested in them but who can get more of them by other means.
For instance, this is a PvP event, so many of the rewards are PvP-themed, such as motifs, style mats, and currencies that are normally only obtainable by PvPing or questing in PvP zones (unless it's something that can be bought at guild traders from players who obtained it through PvP or in PvP zones). For instance, you can get Tel Var Stones in the event coffers, and it's possible to acquire a fair bit of Tel Var that way-- unless you're a veteran of the IC zone, in which case you'll probably see the amount of Tel Var in the event coffers as little better than peanuts.
In general, I find most reward coffers-- be they event coffers, Tales of Tribute coffers, or wharever-- to be reasonably rewarding but not excessively so, which hopefully encourages players to try to earn more of them, while also trying to prevent excessive farming to the extent that it's almost like an exploit or abuse.
The Mayhem rewards are actually the best - cold fire siege and tel var and other pvp stuff. I just wish the Cyrodiil coffers had the style pages. I farmed IC bosses last year for the pages but the drop rate was abysmally low and you got old style pages you already had as well. Not doing that this year.
See, I had actually forgotten that the new pages don't drop from the coffers, but instead drop from the IC bosses. I finally did remember that, but thank you for pointing it out. That means I can focus less on farming coffers and spend more time in the sewers farming the crossed-swords bosses. And since I really only need to find 2 of the new pages that way, given that I'll be able to buy the other 5 with tickets, it takes a lot of the pressure off.

Someone else reminded me, but I farmed those IC bosses last year and the drop rate for the new pages was almost non-existent so I’m skipping it this year.
If the pages are cheap enough in traders I’ll buy them, if not no big loss. I’m usually a completionist but once I missed one it doesn’t bother me as much anymore.

the pelinel boxes from the mayhem do have style pages, they can come with the "tools of domination" style pages, at least in this current event they do
