So show me a test with the values, I'm looking forward to seeing the numbers for both in other build configurations!
Edit: So if you do an SD build, and ignore health, you will die as soon as the shield drops... it's just a stun, and death, remember that the shield is only active for the duration of the skill, and the skill only offer immunity to interrupts, not stuns.

Seems like since you've already got this set up it would be easier for you to go swap the jewelry enchants and traits for wd/sd and infused and see what that does to the tooltips of each.

I changed it to julianos set and changed the jewels to infused!
The sorc's shield decreased a little, however the arcanist's shield was almost the same...
I was intrigued how the arcanist's shield really scales...
(Maybe I'll test more later when I have time.)

What's the point of changing jewelry to infused if the jewels enchants are still not W/S damage? That was the whole point. If the Fatecarver shield scales with W/S damage then this is what makes the difference. There's no surprise you didn't see a change.
Also as someone mentioned above, major sorcery/brutality needs to be up for the comparison to be meaningful, since that's a whopping 20% W/S damage and it's always up during any combat regardless of anyone's build.

Not in the screenshots you provided. The enchants on the Jewelry are still clearly tri-recovery. And as other's have pointed out, without being able to see the actual stats of the build this whole exercise is pretty fruitless.

Admittedly it does go away if you stop channeling the beam but considering the beam is your major damage ability and you can cancel and recast it for minimal cost there is no reason an arcanist can't constantly have up what is basically hardened ward and be constantly beaming. It is absurd. And that's ignoring the offensive scaling off W/SD.
Unfortunately that's not true anymore, because dmg glyphes are shown as "multi-effect" since they got the tiny mag/stam reg part...Thecompton73 wrote: »Not in the screenshots you provided. The enchants on the Jewelry are still clearly tri-recovery.
