I will solo dragonstar arena for this week's endeavour, but that last fight is way harder than any public dungeon fight.
A bit sad that some people apparently don't even want to try normal maelstrom arena, 8 year old solo content. What's the worst that can happen? Death? That's a bit of repair cost. Nobody is gonna make fun of you, because there is nobody else there... 🤷
I can do it just fine on normal, vet I am useless at. I just find doing that boring and would rather use the time for something else.

I mean, once there why not just participate?
Is not like people have anything to lose, not even the equipment degrades...
I usually sit it out when they are all combat-related, but especially when they are pvp or can't be completed solo. I prefer things I do anyway like harvesting resources.

Both Maelstrom Arena and Vateshran Arena are solo instances, and will count for the arena weekly.
You can run either on normal, and take your time. If you pick the quest at the entrance, your progress will get saved on each milestone, so you do not need to complete either on a single sitting.
Out of those, I would suggest starting with Maelstrom, as it is more straight-forward, and it is completely linear.

Unfortunately I don't have any of the two dlcs of these arenas...

Well, I've been waiting for years for ZOS to change the battlegrounds quest to be talk to the guy instead of playing a battleground, but they haven't. So apologies in advance for anyone who gets stuck on a team with me-I'll be worthless. Maybe ZOS wants to kill battlegrounds since this seems to be a way to make it miserable for players this week.
And for those who think arenas are easy - ive been working on Maelstrom for 5 years and still can't complete and I only managed Dragonstar once after working on it for 18 months. I'm delighted you find the simple, but that's not true for all of us.

Anyway, since it says "Complete" (and thankfully not "win"), then I am gonna AFK Battlegrounds 4x times. Is that what you wanted ZOS ?
Even though I generally don't PvP, I do participate in the battlegrounds when I join them. It can be fun as long as there's nobody toxic screaming in group chat about how the team is sucking (yes, there are actually players who do that). In one group this morning there was a helpful person, which is always nice to see.

Well...this will sadly be the first week that I will skip...
Yes, I've completed Maelstrom a few times before, but that was at the cost of my health (I have Fibromyalgia). Trials are out for the same reason. I have really NO desire to do Battlegrounds and my ethics do not permit me to just AFK it.

Normal Maelstrom? Normal Maelstrom is easier than most DLC public dungeons.

If you do happen to opt for BGs, please actually participate, even if you're rubbish, I'd much rather someone who's not very good but at least tries, vs some cantankerous *** who lets their team down by literally not moving from the initial spawn point.
