I'm shocked to the core... Normal content is no more difficult than overland content, just try it. Go through nVH or nMA and you will see it. Or even shout in Craglorn and you'll be taken to some kind of normal trial. I just don't get it, this game probably needs another sub-normal difficulty mode for content.

That really depends on (a) which "normal content" you're referring to, and (b) which "overland content" you're referring to.

It isn't even true that "overland content" is "no more difficult" than "overland content," since there are a great many varieties of overland content, and even different examples of the same variety can differ as to how difficult they are. For instance, one WB can be much more difficult than another WB.

Likewise, different examples of normal content can vary from each other in difficulty. Every normal dungeon is not as equally difficult as every other normal dungeon, otherwise you wouldn't have players griping about being sick of nFG1 because they ran it so many times during the Undaunted events, or wanting to group with sub-L50 players so they can be assured of not getting stuck with a DLC dungeon for their daily random normal.

Yes, this list (albeit out of date) illustrates perfectly how varied in difficulty the dungeons can be:

The fact that vet Spindle 2 and vet Spindle 2 with HM aren't the exact same number makes me question the validity of that survey lol. That HM is completed accidentally by people running it for the first time.

I know, I also don't think it's perfect. I would have put City of Ash I right at the top, it's by far the easiest dungeon for me anyway.

The same content-- e.g., a specific dungeon, or a specific WB-- can even vary in difficulty for a specific player depending on the character they're playing on. For instance, I can solo certain WBs with relative ease on my PC NA main, yet consistently die to those same WBs on my PC EU main. My knowledge of the WB's mechanics is the same, but the two characters are different races, different classes, slightly different CP levels and CP distributions, etc. And that's without even using my combat pets or a companion on my PC NA main, which I try to avoid using as much as possible because I think of them as crutches and I'd rather not be dependent upon them. My PC EU main hasn't even recruited any companions yet.

By the way, I do agree with the following bolded comment:

Try it; don't be afraid of it. You'll never know whether you can do it unless you try it. And as with most anything, you may need to try it and fail many times before you figure out how to not fail at it, so don't just try it once and then give up.

Of course, if a given activity or piece of content simply isn't your cup of tea, there's nothing at all wrong with skipping it.

But don't be afraid to venture outside of your comfort zone.

@SeaGtGruff What should I do to fail in nVA, or go with the Craglorn group to normal AA?

Weeks like this make me not care about endeavors at all. There is nothing for me to do. There should be at least one weekly endeavor for people who have been burned by other toxic players to do.

My trials guild is dormant and I don't enjoy either of the other activities so I guess I am out this week.

A member of my social guild managed to dig up 3 other players for back-to-back runs of nBRP for stickers, which also satisfied the endeavor. I definitely don't recommend this for just an endeavor as BRP is such a long slog for little reward, but I need my stickers!

As we have the crazy king battlegrounds this weekends, I decided not to skip the weekly, but try my first BG in 5 years, on 2 accounts.
I am CP 900 and CP1900, but not PVP.
Dragonknight with non optimal HA set (no oakensoul, no stormmaster). Did not kill many (2 per BG).
I died pretty often, like 9 times in each round, but also got most points (2500-3500, while most others made 1000-2000).

    Strategy is simple:
Many players are so focussed on other players, that you just have to run around a lot, preferebly towards the white flags. They flip very fast, so you can capture them before enemy players reach you, while they are busy PVPing with the others.

Was it "fun"? No, pretty boring.
Was it trerrible? No, just boring.
Would I do it again? I still must play the 2 NA accounts, so will do my weeklies there this way. Takes an hour for 4 BGs, better than farming 30 worldbosses. But apart for seals, I will not play BGs.
Stupid boring grind, but hey - this is ESO, we are used to that.

I wouldn't like to see this particular list of endeavors every week, but on the other hand it gave me the little kick in the butt I needed to finish my first vMA, so that was neat. I think it's fine to occasionally force us out of our comfort zones.

I can't understand how some people will pick to ruin the time and experience for three other people, by "doing" battlegrounds and then just afk.

Just do normal solo arenas instead. The battlegrounds is full enough of people who treat everything as a deathmatch, they don't need a member who does absolutely nothing besides making the match more unfair to their "team".

Yeah this 100% - super sucks when people do that

Just TRY - no one's expecting you to be perfect.

Anyway, if you don't play a lot of BGs anyway, your MMR will be low and you'll likely be paired with people who ALSO don't do BGs very often

I don't understand your question. Are you intimating that you've never failed in nVA (whatever that is; a typo?), and you want to know how to fail at it?

Anyway, I agree with your original advice-- just try it-- but your tone seemed kind of belittling. If you really want to encourage players to try something different than what they're used to, making veiled insults about them ("sub-normal difficulty mode"?) and overgeneralizing about how difficult or easy everything is (as if it's all homogenized with no variations at all) doesn't seem like the way to do it. But that's just my opinion.
