I usually sit it out when they are all combat-related, but especially when they are pvp or can't be completed solo. I prefer things I do anyway like harvesting resources.

Not the best selection for sure. Guess I can do the 4 Battlegrounds and just sit there until it's over.

I don't check what are the dailies. I just play normal, and if something I do brings a notification in chat telling it's counting 1 for a daily/weekly endeavor (ex: harvesting wood), and that it needs very little effort (no extra path, no fight, not time consuming), then I do it. Globally, it means the different harvesting, the 2 quests (happens automatically with daily writs), and crafting related ones.

With this way to go, I do average 5 tasks per week (some days none, some others 1 or 2). Aside of that, I do weekly only when it's the 100 resources, because it happens automatically (no extra effort because covered by my way to play).

So, I think we can tell that my way to go with endeavor is to take it easy...

At this rate I won't get to purchase the item I want before it vanishes from the Crown Store. I wonder how well ZOS understands that a large proportion of its player base have other necessary activities such as jobs, eating and sleeping, and can't spend all their time playing ESO ?

Weren't they saying that daily / weekly endeavours were supposed to be done "just by normally playing the game" ? I mean a lot of people are doing just overland / questing content. So for many it will be doing "abnormal" content lol.

Anyway, since it says "Complete" (and thankfully not "win"), then I am gonna AFK Battlegrounds 4x times. Is that what you wanted ZOS ?

2 normal maelstrom arenas then. It's easy most of the way, the hardest round is the poison one and you can take on multiple poison stacks before clearing a pool. If healing is problematic, you can overcome most of the damage with Strategic Reserve red CP, let your ultimate go up to 500, and you'll have at least 1500 health recovery at all times.

- The dragon star arena bares on normal difficulty as much of a challenge as a public dungeon in a dlc zone.
- Pug runs for normal trials are established in craglorn every single day, especially when such endevour is active.
(A normal run through cloudrest takes about 15 minutes and the majority of pugs manage to do it without knowing even a quintesse of the given mechs.)
- Battlegrounds bare absolutely no challenge and every player who proudly states that they'll abuse the pvp group finder because they'd rather ruin everybody else's enjoyment than play the game, deserve to miss out on the weekly endevour.

If you don't normally do any of these activities I recommend doing Battlegrounds. 4 matches doesn't take long and you don't have to win, which means you don't need to be any good at it. Just run around and attack people until the timer is up or someone scores enough points. You might die and have to respawn a lot, but that's even less of a problem than in PvE because you're stuck in a little pen so it's never far from the spawn point to wherever you want to be.

I only ever do battlegrounds for events or endeavours and I found the objectives very simple to pick up (I think all the modes are based on children's playground games) so you might find you're able to do more than just attacking at random. (Although if it's a death match that is basically the objective.)

I wouldn't say it's fun and it gets very repetative very quickly, but then you only need to do 4 matches in a week for the endeavour.

Crazy King is my favourite, where you have to claim points that move around the map at regular intervals. It's supposed to be random but they only actually appear at a few set points and after a bit it's fairly obvious where the next one will be so I can often start heading there before it spawns and claim it, and then I can just stand there for a bit to 'defend' it because if someone's there other teams usually won't bother trying to take it as it will move soon anyway. Then head on to the next one.

I will solo dragonstar arena for this week's endeavour, but that last fight is way harder than any public dungeon fight.

A bit sad that some people apparently don't even want to try normal maelstrom arena, 8 year old solo content. What's the worst that can happen? Death? That's a bit of repair cost. Nobody is gonna make fun of you, because there is nobody else there... 🤷

I can't understand how some people will pick to ruin the time and experience for three other people, by "doing" battlegrounds and then just afk.

Just do normal solo arenas instead. The battlegrounds is full enough of people who treat everything as a deathmatch, they don't need a member who does absolutely nothing besides making the match more unfair to their "team".

4 BGs (does not matter if you play or afk) is the fastest way to get weekly endeavours vs doing 2 Trials or 3 Arenas.

So it is more like time vs reward. If you see people afk in BGs don't blame them. Blame ZOS for not adding an overland or at least group dungeon endeavour. Instead of Trials or Arenas, there should be either Group Dungeon or Public Dungeon group challenge.

For a "true" BGs players, it kinda sucks, but it is what it is

I understand nothing in overland this week sucks but at least try normal Maelstrom.

It's relatively easy, the enemies don't hit hard. The only trouble you may run into is Stage 5-7 mechanics, but it's not that bad once you know it.

Plus at the end you get a shiny new Arena Weapon.

I can do it just fine on normal, vet I am useless at. I just find doing that boring and would rather use the time for something else.

I'll pass on the weekly for this week.

I don't have the reflexes/mobility for Maelstorm Arena or PvP and I certainly won't do trials. I had actually considered going afk in a battle ground, but that would be unfair to other players.

Just get your self in a battleground, but please dont sit there and wait till its over, that is so toxic and triggering to us who who actually play them.
