Zenimax is doing a great job!

StarScythe
I just wanted to say that you guys working at Zenimax are doing a great job customer service wise, managing the gold selling / spamming situation and addressing bugs. I recently had a problem with a quest and some additional separate questions. In both cases Zenimax got back to me and acknowledged my problems and tried to answer my questions within an hour. Even after I replied to those requests seeking further clarification or help they still got back to me within 2-3 hours. I have seen a huge reduction in the amount of botting and gold spamming I've encountered this last week.

You're doing a great job Zenimax! Great customer service! Great game management! Great community relations!

I love this game too <3

The threads you're seeing at the top of the page are just people expressing concerns with a game they most probably love as well, so don't get disheartened by all the threads expressing any negativity - we all just want issues in the game to be fixed so we get a truly awesome game to play.

I'm liking it as well. I have rolled 7 toons so far and opted for a 6 month sub. Life (in Tamriel) is good!

I'm not being sarcastic. I'm genuinely impressed with Zenimax through my own personal experiences in ESO. I don't know what other grudges some people have against Zenimax. ESO is a new game and I'm sure it will only get better.

I too was helped pretty quickly with an issue I had. Most of the people who aren't helped quickly, either don't report it correctly, or it's an issue that cannot be easily fixed by customer service(and requires changes to code to fix in a patch).

I'm enjoying the game... bugs, glitches and the occasional downtime or lag and all... so yeah... Good on ya Zeni, keep up the good work :)

No, I never ask for much... easy way to always get more then you ask for and be pleasantly surprised, isn't it ?

I agree... but I dont agree with those loot timers on public dungeon bosses regarding soulstones - make the soulstones worth 0 or make them unsaleable - I dont know, just make them drop every time.

I have to agree, compared to other MMO's, they have been handling the Community Relations very well. Trying to keep us informed with their progress on issues and bugs. The "scheduled maintenance" window needs a little work, but it's still a new MMO, so it's kind of expected. Keep up the good work!

Have been in some major launches back from the Trammel launch to more recent ones, obviously including WoW patches & nerfs.

Yes there are issues but things are only getting better and I believe this will be the case in the future.

All in all, a decent game launch and as mentioned, life in Tamriel is good.
There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures.

I too think they have been making good progress. hell this is their first multilayer game on such a big scale. frankly I was surprised I could login at all on day one, and get such great perfomance performance. Sure bots suck, but anyone who has played an Wow expansion at a lunch knows how to get a kill in. never waited for a boss more than 5 minutes, and at was only a couple of times. My only concerns are those nasty banns that seem to make it on to innocent players accounts. i hear there is lag and long load scenes, which I don't come across hat often, and never for very long. I guess what I'm really wanting to know is why am I so special? Why are other people getting so much crap and giving it back out in 10 fold

    Suck ups are the worst...

they're doing allright, i'm keen for the future of ESO.
contrary to popular belief the problem with ESO isn't the developers, it's the quickly angered community.

As it is with every mmorpg just after launch... But it usualy gets better as the 30 days pass and FoTM gamers move on the other games...

Just as important to give positive feed back as well as negative (Forums being mostly negative normally). They have made some headway while trying to fix some of the major game issues at the same time. Good example.. I no longer get CSR email spam for reporting gold spammers, There has been a reduction in entry zone spam/dungeon bots (they may have progressed to higher zones). I actually went 2 days with out an in game mail spam instead of the 5 a day I was getting
Response from CSR's remain canned on initial response, but asking for clarification has resulted in someone actually reading the initial request and responding accordingly and much quicker then first few weeks

Obviously there is work to be done, but lets give credit for improvements they have made

I concider ESO as a half full glass... with room left for more goodness to be added... and not as a half empty glass...

I real life, I'm not the pessimist that sees things as half empty, nor the optimist that sees them as half full... I'm the opportunist that just takes the glass and drinks it while the other 2 are debating about the what the glass actualy is :D

Well there was the bit were they banned people, and later admitted they had done nothing wrong.
The bit where they had servers offline several days in a row.
Bugs they briefly refused to admit existed.
Emails from Spammers, and PMs from spammers.
PMs being offline for several days
    Severe Lag and Latency
    People suffering random Disconnects

Mind you I'm still enjoying the game.

Personally, I'm really enjoying ESO. I feel like if there is an MMO out there for me, this must be it. I also want to personally praise the customer support at Zenimax. They were super quick to respond to my ticket and helped me out a lot. I think that for an MMO, the launch of ESO has been almost entirely praiseworthy. Many of the complaints leveled against this game have been legitimate concerns, but I think they will be ironed out in time. I say good riddance to the rage-quitters and I hope enough of us stick around to see what's in store.
