I was thinking yes, do it. But then we will have the same problem we are facing now. People will just camp the places and kill all the were/vamp mobs.

Except you do realize how many places vamps/ weres spawn right. I have seen them countless times in almost every map.
Plus some are related to quests and that's the only time they will spawn in said area so if you have done the quest I doubt you would be able to see them.

this is only a rage thread about how someone/people aren't getting what they want, when they want it, how they want it... it would be very appropriate to envision them as stomping their feet and waving their hands in the air as they rage about this in the forums.
i mean all i can see here is someone/people tugging on ESO's sleeves with tears and snot bubbles while pointing at people.
we are all paying customers here.
infection should be hard to come by. with that said, its not impossible to get a bite- there are numerous guilds out that will offer it free.
my only concern is to not see eso freely give into others inappropriate demands when the player community already have resolved the issue by creating guilds that are offering free bites.

There are 2 things that can be done to completely resolve this issue.

1. Users need to stop buying bites.

2. Zenimax needs to change the quests from random spawns to a non killable NPC quest line.

Regarding #2. As soon you hit level 40, (and are in a level 40+ zone) have a random spawn NPC near one of the quest areas that offers you the chance to become a WW or Vamp. You could then decline their offer, or pick up the quest for a new quest line that will progress you through the steps of becoming a WW/Vamp.

Personally, I think completing the Vamp quest was WAY too easy. I think Zenimax needs to make the chain longer so that you have to prove that you are worthy of the ability.

Isn't the griefing slowing down a bit now? Not sure but anyway, I was in Reapers March the night before last and the whole group of people were just taking turns to get the WW scratch. I joined in and soon I was one of the pack with no problem. Everyone was being really great and having a good time. Maybe I just got lucky at that particular spawn point. Now if they would just fix WW I would be a happy camper........:)

Seriously people, this is the honest truth.. I was able to get a bite from a mob on my first try simply by watching zone chat (yes i know alot of people are complaining about zone chat, but it is actually helpful if you ignore everyone that acts like an ***) I saw in zone chat that people were calling out spawn locations. I messaged that person, ported to them and minutes later was doing the quest. Things are changing.. i know alot of people who give bites free. I do as well.

The in game community is so bad. Between the Elite DPS meter pigs and this i want to just play the game solo.

I want more massive group content. Like how GW2 is and Rift. Where 100 people can just do world events without *** elite users picking who stays and goes.

This is an issue i have with Subscription based games. I'm paying $14.99 a month just like everyone else. I ALSO want to enjoy the content on HOW i want to play. When it gets to the point of someone else paying the $14.99 and THEN telling me how i should play or if im "Too weak" then we have an issue.

I haven't really ran into alot of Elite pigs but if we get anymore i will just simply stop playing. Easy as that

is a 100% LEGAL player to player transaction. I for one refuse to pay such a price, of course i plan to play this game for a long time, so I dont care how long it will take to get a bite/kiss

I find it moderately entertaining that someone would actually waste their time in game camping a spawn. I mean how boring is that! So if someone want to waste their time and money..$15 per month sitting at one spawn then I say let em do it. However the paying real cash thing is a bit illegal

. Now this is also from a dude who could care less about the ww or vamp thing so i have a bit biased of an opinion. But you have to respect someones dedication if they are willing to waste time camping one spawn for a bit of gold in game. FYI gold is easy to come by later in the game.

Fact that we have all payed for the game doesn't mean you can simply log in, get stuff, because you paid and are entitled to get whatever you want.

plus they cant be on every channel, keep logging in and out eventually you will get a good channel you can get to the npcs

I think vampire griefers should be awarded with a medal. They are doing tough job on preventing that foul vampire infestation from spreading on whole Cyrodiil province.

Being infected with vampirism or lupus isn't promised and shouldn't be promised.

Yesterday I went to Cyradiil and obtained a daily quest to capture a certain keep but the other faction wont let me... I have been trying but something needs to be done about the darn griefers in Cyradiil or this game simply wont make it and I will cancel my subscription

ATTENTION: this isn't true on my part, I am only using this as a example of how people tend to throw terms around to manipulate situations especially in the ww/vamp situation.

The infection isn't/shouldn't be promised to someone at any point in the game but a rare gift achieved by the truly dedicated. I am in no way saying one has to/should pay for it but there are many other ways to get bit that people refuse to implement as strategy. Create guilds that will pass the infection freely, make friends with someone who is infected, etc...
In Cyradiil you are not promised the keep you have to capture but if you are dedicated it is certainly possible at some point. The same goes with being infected and that is why it isn't considered griefing as the OP and some others refer to in these situations
My only objection is how griefing is freely thrown around by people who show no initiative and expect spoon feeding

I was bitten by a kind player for free. I have a few levels to go but my bites are gonna be free. As long as players pay for them there will always be a market. I tried to "wait out the spawns" but when something would spawn, the masses came in and killed them all. The flip side to this is you get level 8 players that want a bite and they can't pass the 10 to pass the quest so it is a wasted bite. I saw a lot of low level players purchasing bites when I got mine at the shrine. I guess vamps don't mind to pass them out when they are making 10,000 coins or much more per bite. When my bite is ready I will go to the shrine and pick someone from zone chat that wants a bite and pass on the gift for free.

I think vamp & ww should have not formal but great disadvantages. For example vamps shoul have allways 0 magik resist to fire spells\enchants\abilities regardless to their armour/juelry/perks and debuffs for day-time.

I would give a bite away for free now. Seems stupid to actually be charging for this now in game or camping the spawns. People are giving them away for free in guilds because so many are vamps or ww. In reference to your comment, Werewolves are already at a disadvantage. We suck.......
