Give magicka scythe execute scaling

Ruinous Scythe already got tons of buffs to apply hemorrhaging, instant off balance, and counts as bleed damage which is very useful for certain sets. The only thing the magicka morph, Hungry Scythe, has that the stam version doesn't is a minor hot. Ruinous Scythe is much, much better across the board, and with harmony/graverobber being nerfed, it would make sense to put some power back into other less-used necro skills. Execute scaling would fit the scythe theme and combo well with blastbones.

Makes sense. With harmony graveyard no longer being a delete button for PVP the Scythe could use execute scaling- it fits in thematically and there is risk being in melee range.

I don’t play mag necro in pvp but I think it’s in much need of a damage boost and seeing as they just got a huge nerf to their overall burst this could help them greatly, mag necro was already struggling with damage, ZOS please do this for the few cros that are left!

Also it should start scaling at 50%, executes that begin at 30% are rarely used in pvp.

Cool idea, damage scaling similar to Whirling Blades would make it a useful skill.

Totally agree. I mean, the first thing that I can think of when it comes to Scythe themed skill is execute skill lol

I’m a huge fan of this idea, Undeath needs more counterplay.

As they nerf the abilities ZOS designed into the class to compensate for all of the missing kit.

Just some ideas based on what ZOS has given other classes.....
    • passive minor expedition and 10% increased damage every 3rd cast of Flame Skull, 100% crit rate every 3rd cast of Venom Skull
    • Major Berserk on Scythe
    • The self synergy healing component of Boneyard should be a "heal to full heath" not subject to BS
    • Every tick of Intensive Mender applies 4s major expedition
    • Frost Colossus applies major vulnerability, Pestilant applies major cowardice
    • Stun on cast and every 2 seconds after for Agony totem morphs
    • Blastbones grants you minor courage, the targets minor cowardice.
    • Major brutality/sorcery passive while pet is active

The list is a little tongue in cheek, but everyone one of those things is something other classes have, in most cases, a couple of classes have the majority of that list. :)

Agree with this. Necro needs execute scaling on scythe.

And its healing pet should also grant major prophecy/savagery and the damage pet should grant brutality/sorcery.

This will give it a lot more opportunity to thrive.

I would love to see skulls get a speed boost/clunkiness reduction and have the mag morph apply burning and the stam morph poison. That would help build into the class dot theme as well as keep up a bit better with other spammables that apply guaranteed status effects/debuffs.

The skelly summons also need to apply a dot or provide a major buff while active. Their damage was completely gutted with the U35 changes, rendering a niche and largely ineffective PvP skill completely useless.

There needs to be some sort of rework to siphon or an alternate necro skill to give the class a useable dot. Without harmony bombing, there's a massive gap in the toolkit that no other class has. If you look at warden (the most comparable class), the big shalks burst is supplemented by dot sources from fetcher flies and arctic blast, whereas necro has nothing supplementing blastbones, which is a far more unreliable and inconsistent skill in the first place.

It is best to build all of these items into a necromancer's scythe._)))
