If the parallel with 'tentpole movies' is valid, it doesn't mean anything other than "main system of the year".
Sorry to say that: i do not see "Not excited at all" option.
Last 3 years were the years of non-fulfilled promises.
2020 the year of Performance with performance decline
2021 the year oh Hardware Upgrades (hello form EU and Consoles) and stability of Releases (hello U36)
2022 the year of good story-telling with quite rushed one-year story and, again, upgrades (again hello PC EU)
Also Matt in his interview stated consoles clients are limiting factor in implementing something big like new class ir even a skill line, increasing housing limits, etc as theirs resources are close to be exhausted.
Consoles has not went anywhere, so we would probably get Q2 Telavnnis zone (to re-use many of existing Morrowind models, textures and objects), gardening/farming as a main feature, as plants are already in the game. This could successfully postpone legacy clients issue for another year.
Q3 is quite logical fixing bugs released in Q2, no surprise here.
For the Q4 system, in my understanding the term "tentpole" was used intentionally to confuse most of non-native speakers
(and, please, let me remind that ESO players community is very international, not everyone is that fluent in English)
I don't expect Ember and Isobel to do pole dances near my tent (though it might be quite nice),
but i honestly don't know what to expect, especially considering such a nebulous term was carefully selected.
Spellcrafting might be an option as it would not require a lot of new resources, but i'd expect a balancing nightmare with it.
Yes, these last years were a serious ordeal, mostly because of COVID lockdowns, rough changes to working patterns.
I still love the ESO game, but i don't expect much (as not much of promised recently was actually delivered),
so not excited at all.
Sorry for that
In regards to consoles being a 'limiting factor' then ZOS needs to move beyond the old gen consoles then and realize that next gen consoles are much more capable. Heck, even DCUO is doing a next gen console graphics update late this year. DCUO learned the hard way that refusing to move beyond the old gen consoles was a seriously limiting factor and they finally had to cut the cord on PS3 support a few years ago- after spending many years refusing to do so- but at the cost of decline of the game and players. ESO cannot make that same mistake, and moving on sooner rather than later is key to continued growth of the game.

We'll see, of course. After AwA, my bar these days is "please don't take something I love about the game and remove it or wreck it" more than being actively excited. I'm still reminded of it every time I play an alt and need to go through an area of the map that I would rather explore later, so unlike other changes it is in my face every day as something we have lost, so it is kind of hard to "let it go." THAT, and I'm a Templar main.

For me the feature isn't going to influence any decisions unless it is a super bad decision on their part.
But the ZONE... if it is going to be another place where it is constantly raining and thundering, like 2022 and 2021, then I will probably pass. I am so tired of logging into the game and it is *** raining constantly.

I'm the opposite - rain makes me utterly happy. I want it to rain 24/7/365. Have you tried changing SET RAIN_WETNESS "1" to SET RAIN_WETNESS "0" in UserSettings.txt?
I hadn't realized there was a new feature mentioned separate from the system. In that case, the new feature is probably romancing companions/NPCs, which they've hinted was coming I believe.
