What feature would you like to see most in future ESO?

In my opinion, the game updates have become a bit too schematic lately. Once there have been complete Arenas waiting in the Q4 update, now it is 1 wandering world boss instead. Wow. Not. (Although I love the Firesong story line.) I had a few ideas to reinvigorate the game in the future. Please choose the one you like most, you are welcome to comment in any case!

Of these options - mounted combat. Otherwise - spellcrafting or a trial finder (which wouldn't really be a chapter seller)

None of these would even crack my top 100 if I am being honest.

-I like the trade system. This smells too much like a central auction house.

-Bard class has never appealed to me.

-We are talking like 50k crowns for the try hards, Meh. They wont do it anyways, so its a non-starter. No way they are dumping millions and millions of crowns into the open market.

-Mounted Combat just smells like zerg balls with twice the speed, no thanks.

-PVP in overland would NEVER fly in this community.

-Mythic weapons would be a balance nightmare. Some take two slots which makes them tougher to balance, it also locks you into a weapon type which would restrict build diversity, especially if said item is deemed to be meta. If anything, I would restrict mythics to one piece of jewelry, or perhaps even a unique armor slot.

With a class change token of course. Yes. I know about Account-wide achievements. Yes. I’m aware some people don’t see the point. Still. I’d pay good money to be able to change classes for my main whenever I want.

the only options i see as even feasible would be:
    • mythic weapon
    • justice pvp zone (if it was a brand new separate zone where you would just be marked as "hostile" to other players if you had a bounty)

now the difficulty of implementing those (balance wise for the weapons, or designing an entire zone with rewards worthwhile enough to get people to go there to actually try stealing stuff

me personally i dont really prefer any of those options (except for maybe achievement point to crowns because i would get over 40k lol)

I stopped playing LOTRO shortly after they added mounted combat as I was never a fan.

Full on Bard's aren't really that appealing to me.

I'd say either add a Central Auction House or don't bother but, I'm a PC player so maybe if I used the console I might find that useful.

I don't really want to grind achievements and if they gave you crowns I'd probably end up doing it and just spending them on stupid stuff/needlessly hoarding them.

PvP in ESO doesn't have that much interest and a justice setup would likely struggle at providing motivation for the thieves and the people killing them.

I'd like Mythic weapons but, allowing them to be customized is just asking for trouble with someone finding a way to make it meta and then leading to it being nerfed into the ground in the long run due to complaints. With static stats, you could make something that is good enough for regular people to enjoy using it while also being bad enough that the top of PvE and PvP will not use it. If they use it, the item will likely end up needing to be nerfed into the ground to get the people at the top to stop complaining about it.

Would side with Oreyn on this one.

I'd say even relatively small and not much significant for most thing like breaking "year long" approach would probably do more to my enjoyment level, not even talking about going back to pre "year of the xyz" writing level.

Not mentioning pve or pvp as I have zero faith for those things to blossom ever again honestly.

TTC integrated as part of the game.

Side note: we have combat mounted in GW2, in WvW activity. At first, I found it cool, now I don't like it anymore. It brings several heavy disadvantages, out of which a messy visual that is massively detrimental during fighting. All in all, he fun we get is little and once there is no more the "new is shiny" effect, it doesn't let much to enjoy. We now tend to just use the mounts to go from A to B faster than running on our feet, but fight dismounted.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

Bard class and the ability to craft and synchronize music pieces
Bard class from those choices - it would be fun to create and play music, good for roleplay too.

Other than that, a FO76 style "pacifist" mode in Cyrodiil/IC so we can go there and do the quests and get the skyshards etc without getting harassed. Failing that, an actual PvE version of them entirely, I mean if any of the PvP servers are always empty due to a lack of players, why not convert it to a PvE server for C/IC? At least it would be getting used.

Of these options TTC built into the game would be the most useful or interesting to me. Before discovering TTC I just didn't bother buying anything from guild traders because it's not worth the hassle of wandering around hoping to randomly stumble across one selling what I want, especially when it's even less likely I'll find it at a reasonable price.

I sort-of like the idea of mounted combat, but in games where it's available I often choose not to use it because I find it clunky and awkward compared to other options and it seems likely the same would happen in ESO if it was a late addition to the system.

Mythic weapons might be ok, but I'm not interested in any of the current mythic items so I probably wouldn't be that bothered about weapons either (and it sounds like if you do make an effort to get them it's frustrating).

I've never seen the appeal of a bard class in anything except pen and paper games, and even then I don't want to play one, it's just that someone else playing one can sometimes add some more variety to encounters.

A Justice zone sounds pointless. We've already got PvE activities in Cyrodiil which are rarely played and IC which still isn't very popular even after they made it free to access. I can't see that a slightly different version of PvPvE is going to be any more popular. You'd also have to give massive bonuses to the criminals to make it worthwhile. If you were just stealing the same items you can get in other maps but with absurdly increased risk because players could follow you around until you make a mistake and get a bounty then kill you on the spot no one would bother going there. And if the people who do go there to steal and kill always make sure to play it safe so they don't get a bounty the potential gankers would just get angry that they're wasting their time stalking people they can't kill and probably claim they're being griefed.

A 1:1 conversion of achievement points into crowns would never happen. At best it would be something like what Guild Wars 2 does where every 5,000 achievement points gets you 400 gems (which is only enough for 1 weapon skin or mini pet).

Like most of the people replying what I'd actually like isn't on this list. I agree that the dungeon, chapter with 1 random feature, dungeon, story DLC format is getting boring but I don't think throwing in a different random feature is a solution to that, it's just more of the same.

What I'd really like to see is something like the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild DLCs which added new ways to play across the whole game which also tied into the zone and story. Or a new weapon skill line, like the rumoured 1-hand and rune idea (which could also fit with recent attempts to make hybrid builds viable), something new to do which I can do on my existing characters.

Honestly? No sweeping changes or new systems, just some little improvements to light up my usual, super casual, contact with ESO:
    - Vanity cam, or even better photo mode. - With how much focus Fashion Scrolls Online gets, it's strange that we don't really have the ability to look over our outfits and make some nice screenshots of them.
    - Hide outfit slots option - In the same vein as above. Some outfits are just made or broken by some specific items. If we could at least hide shoulders I'd be happy. Although I'd love to have hide everything option. I doubt it'd cause a plague of swimsuit models.
    - Ability to group surveys - I have tons of them. Running back and forth to one spot or logging in and out is not gameplay.
    - Surveys for mushrooms - Violet Corprinus is hard to come by.
    - And yes, something akin to TTC would be a welcome change. Currently trading without any addons is really tedious, especially if you're looking for a specific items, even if you forget about the price factor.

These are guild houses, unique guild currency, daily guild tasks, guild management tools, guild analytics tools, card and pvp arenas for guild wars with a tournament grid, divine guild relics, guild capes with buffs, unique guild clothing style with symbols, unique guild pet and mount with symbols, something else and anything else. It's not a money argument, it's a "different teams" argument, as well as a "for many or even most players there aren't sufficient bugs and stability issues to warrant closing down development" argument.
