That area may only be open during the quest. It has been years since have been that far back.
The correct order is here:

I will try today as well and see if I am locked out..
I found all 4 clan icons on the net, after a brief image search. So it may be possible to interact with the correct 4 plates (even with no visual feedback), and thus open the door. I just searched for "eso orc tumnosh insignia", and similarly for the other 3 clans, and in all 4 cases, the orc clan icon was near the start of the image list.SeaGtGruff wrote: »The correct order is here:

Yes, that's the UESPWiki page I've been looking at. The clan names are listed, but not their icons, or better yet a picture of the octagonal stone showing all six plates with the correct four plates conveniently numbered from 1 to 4.
But it doesn't matter, because it doesn't seem to be possible to interact with the pressure plates, anyway-- unless it is, but there's simply no visual indication to confirm that a plate was successfully interacted with.
No, sorry, it doesn't appear to work. I went to the door, then dismissed Bastian, but the door remained locked.katanagirl1 wrote: »Someone stated in the Crows Wood threads that disabling companions and/or sorc pets let them in when it did nit before.
Just curious if the same fix works here too if anyone wants to try it.
