Unable to enter "Old Orsinium Interior" of the Old Orsinium public dungeon

Hey,

I'm unable to use the doors to enter the interior (the part with the pressure plates) on characters that I have already completed the dungeon quest with.

When I try to use the doors I get the following message: "You cannot use that door right now."

Just to be clear, the character I'm trying to enter this on has already completed the quest previously to use the pressure plates to open the door, and has completed the group event achievement etc.

That area may only be open during the quest. It has been years since have been that far back.

Yeah that sounds like a glitch. I’ve gone in a bunch of times, after completing the quest, to get the antiquity lead.

Same is happening to me.
Already did the quest and can't get back inside.

I didn't do the group event and can't get the skill point now.

Nope, the quest acts more like an introduction to give full access to the dungeon. Once completed you are meant to be able to exit and enter whenever you want.

As an update: I received a reply to my ticket telling me to uninstall addons etc. which didn't work.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is this is a known issue for the devs?

I'm having the same problem with Old Orsinium. Trying to get the Ancient Orc motif, got locked out as described above by previous posters having already completed quest etc, with one character, went onto another char which was working fine, but now THAT char is also locked out.

Might add that both times the two characters were locked out, I had logged out inside the dungeon. When logging back in, you would normally reappear where you logged off. When this occured, no problem. Then I logged back in and found myself at the front door of the dungeon rather than inside. When that happened I was locked out.

I tried disabling libhistoire as half the time when logging out I get a message related to this addon library that stops immediate logging out. This didn't get me back in but at least now when I relog, I'm back inside the dungeon ie at the hammer's pass door where we're all barred from entering.

I'm going to leave libhistoire disabled and try with another toon and see how I go

Still no access to Old Orsinium following today's patch though I see the Crow's Wood issue has been addressed.

We have this same exact issue also on the console side (XBox - EU). We've tried with several characters whom have completed the quest and all were unable to access the Old Orsinium Interior, something that was accessible not long ago.

Can't quite grasp how things like this aren't fixed immediately when the problem is obvious.

Can confirm, this is a system issue and not a Add-on issue as I am also on Xbox. I also cannot access Old Orsinium on a character who has already finished the quest. My main character holds the achievement for completion, I was hoping to grind out some gear.

I tried to run the dungeon today (finished it yesterday) and was not able to enter. I submitted a ticket today but have yet to hear back. I will update if I receive a response.

I'll add my name to this list. I was trying to complete the Orsinium Relics on one of my characters on one of my characters today and ran into this bug. I doubled checked and I have the achievement for killing all of the dungeon bosses, so I was able to access the entire dungeon at one time. I submitted a ticket today.

Same thing has happened to me, PS5 EU. Cannot enter the door like others have stated but I have done the dungeon before.

I cannot enter, either. I've already done the quest and used to be able to enter at will to farm for the motif pages, but now the quest giver is dead, the door cannot be used at this time, and there is no way to interact with the pressure plates in front of the door-- assuming I could even figure out which four to activate, and in which order, since I can't remember which clan each of the symbols is for and the UESPWiki doesn't say, merely lists the clan names.

Is this something that started happening because of AWAs, or was it working fine after AWAs and only stopped working after a more recent update?

Yes, that's the UESPWiki page I've been looking at. The clan names are listed, but not their icons, or better yet a picture of the octagonal stone showing all six plates with the correct four plates conveniently numbered from 1 to 4.

But it doesn't matter, because it doesn't seem to be possible to interact with the pressure plates, anyway-- unless it is, but there's simply no visual indication to confirm that a plate was successfully interacted with.

I found all 4 clan icons on the net, after a brief image search. So it may be possible to interact with the correct 4 plates (even with no visual feedback), and thus open the door. I just searched for "eso orc tumnosh insignia", and similarly for the other 3 clans, and in all 4 cases, the orc clan icon was near the start of the image list.
Actually, no: I just went there and tried it, and the plates don't appear to be interactive. Even with no visual feedback, I thought I might get audio for the plates "moving". I tried to activate the 4 plates in the correct order, but the door was still locked.

Someone stated in the Crows Wood threads that disabling companions and/or sorc pets let them in when it did nit before.

Just curious if the same fix works here too if anyone wants to try it.

No, sorry, it doesn't appear to work. I went to the door, then dismissed Bastian, but the door remained locked.

I've farmed there a lot so I know it's a bug 100%

Tried relogging, dismissing companion etc but cant access the interior.

Confirmed. I cannot enter Old Orsinium.
The Plates at the entrance are not interactable.

Wrothgar Dungeon Slayer was completed in January of 2021...
Old Orsinium Group event: May 2020
Old Orsinium Conqueror: Sept 2019
Old Orsinium Vanquisher Sept 2019

And this is all with the Orc character that completed it all.

Just adding my voice to the fact that the Old Orsinium Interior Door is bugged. I have completed the quest previously and now the door is shut with no way to get through. I cannot complete the zone due to group event, etc being inside that door

I also cannot enter Crow's Wood OR Old Orsinium public dungeons. Have completed Old Orsinium on my main character, yet she cannot access the door. The chest for Crow's Wood does not register when I attempt to interact with it.
