Strange Chest to Crow's Wood is acting... well... strange

Click it, kick it or stab it, the chest won't open and no portal to Crow's Wood would show. But then after about 2 minutes... boom... portal. Strange Chest indeed!

    Chest still will not open. I have a Mage's Guild daily to do, but can't get to dungeon. I've tried about a half dozen times at different times of the day. No bueno.

    I dismissed companion, then i get in....when inside y can take companion out again :)

    Some can open it some can't, if you're near when someone else opens it you can use the portal

    From the patchnotes v.8.2.5 :
    • Crow’s Wood: You can no longer spawn infinite portals to Crow's Wood. We know you love the Duke of Crows and his murder, but there are better ways to honor them.
    It makes sense that the portals are not infinite, but the strange chest should always give the portal to Crow's Wood when you interact with it, without a delay. But unfortunately, when they changed this, they changed more then they realised.

    I am having the same problem and can't enter the area. I went to blackwood and came back, and I also tried removing my companion, but I still couldn't enter. I thought there were papers and a book to read before entering and they are missing, but it has been a while since i did this public dungeon, so maybe it got removed.

    I can see the link, but clicking it doesn’t bring up the portal. So I can’t get in.

    So I tested a bit and in at least one case unsummoning the companion allowed me to enter. With another toon, that made no difference.

    Over the last few days I have seen a growing number of complaints about this in zone chat.
