why did i cancel? ESO needs to know

jackalpup83b14_ESO
there needs to be a comment box that asks why we are cancelling our subscriptions so the ESO team can compile them and fix the issues. every good game needs to know why people cancel and adjust accordingly if they see a huge spike in one area.

i don't hate ESO and i would like to come back one day.

for example i am cancelling because there is no sPvP battle grounds. i would love to come back once ESO makes some. if this is something a bunch of people cancel for (i know 7 of the people in my guild are all cancelling because of this) and if ESO was thinking about it already, maybe seeing this in a graph of "why people cancel" would put it on the front burner for the team before they lose hundreds more.

if they can see that hundreds of people are cancelling because of crappy customer service and not being able to play the game since launch, they can look at it and maybe hire more people to do customer service or make it a top priority to fix the login code problem. (all that needs to be done is changing email)

I'm sure there is an amount of this post we can all agree on, however, you can't make threads that are 'I quit' threads. There are several threads that give feedback in regards to what they can do better in the game.

ZOS doesn't NEED to add a report form when you cancel your subscription. 90% of the people that quit come on here to *** about it anyways, and tell us they're leaving.

Just tell them that you wish to see 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 arena.

    I'll tell them for you.

You have a great idea - adding a reason when we cancel, it could be helpful!

Goodbye threads are usually closed though. Any chance you'd be willing to reword your thread in to a feedback/suggestion post in hopes this feature will be added?

Then again, a green will likely see it anyways.

It's refreshing to see someone say they don't hate the game and would like to come back some day though. That's a positive attitude and the kind that would be nice if they stuck around on forums ;)

    Don't leave us!

There should be a follow up survey sent when subscriptions are cancelled. And I imagine there will be.

Hey there, @jackalpup83b14_ESO. We thank you for playing The Elder Scrolls Online.

We do not allow goodbye/quitting threads on our forums, as per our Code of Conduct, however we are sad to see you go.

We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread, but we typically find that these types of threads go downhill rather quickly. Rest assured, it's our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not. We do appreciate the feedback that you've provided us!

Thank you again for playing ESO, and we hope to see you back in Tamriel in the future!
