PTS Update 36 - Bug Reports for Combat & Class Abilities

    Werewolf berserker morph is incapable of proc’ing the bleed status effect even though it deals bleed damage. Multiple patch issue now.

    There wasn't anything for the purging bug/issue that's been going on, is this something that was missed or will be addressed during this pts cycle? @ZOS_Gilliam @ZOS_Finn @ZOS_GinaBruno

    Currently, in fights such as the Hunter Killers in the Halls of Fabrication, purging has been seen by quite a handful of teams to not work. Before update 35 this wasn't an apparent issue due to the amount of ticks coming from the healers. However with the Poison Injection that ticks every .5 seconds makes it more apparent of purging skills not working. Some groups have even tried running the Curse Eater set along with the Cleansing Revival slottable CP, and 4-5 people with Purge and the DoT refuses to purge. My team was in the middle of a TTT progression, to which we are not a super sweaty team in this regard, and small issues with purge not working properly but was able to out heal it ever so slightly. We weren't trying to nuke the boss in anyway as our burn isn't high enough to do so. Once update 35 dropped and we reviewed the fight we noticed that purging wasn't actually purging the DoT off of players.

    This has also been reported by other groups for the first boss of Veteran Kyne's Aegis HM, in which this case is the Charus totem poison AoE was not being purged as well.

    Necromancer is riddled with bugs and here is some of them;

    Blastbones doesnt proc a lot of item sets (such as Scathing Mage,Nerieneth or Ring of Pale Order) or CPs (Occult Overload)

    Spirit Mender also doesnt proc sets or CPs . Often stops healing to the point that it never heals anyone once in multiple summons.

    Ricochet Skull often gets bugged in PVP and doesnt proc it's bonus effect every 3rd cast and stays that way for a long time.

    Ritual of Retribution is still 20 seconds when the U35 notes said static DoTs are meant to last between 10 and 15. As a reminder, 20 is not between 10 and 15.

    Fixed an issue where Bastian's passive was not correctly dropping potent potions from world or delve bosses.

    What about the fact that Bastian's potions don't work at all and don't provide extra buff? Will this every be addressed?

    I can confirm this, and havent seen anything regarding a patch or hotfix for this. Is there more data you need on this? Do you need more bug reports or videos or anything?

    Gina confirmed there is no bug to be fixed. The bleed comes from a source that cannot proc status effects.

    No, that is incorrect. It comes from a source that is unrelated to how the damage translates. If this shouldn’t be a thing then: caulerions legacy, imbue weapon, crystal weapon, etc should not proc status effects either. However, they do.

    There is nothing incorrect about what I said. Light attacks do not proc status effects. Gina Bruno confirmed the berserker bleed was therefore not a bug here:

    If something is working as intended, it is by definition not a bug. You are free to disagree with the devs' choice, but that is feedback, not a bug report.

    You're right that Caluurion's should not proc status effects. That sounds like a bug. Sets should not proc procs. Wailing on a dummy with melee weapon light attacks and Relequen's will never proc Sundered, for example, even though all that damage is physical. Imbue Weapon and Crystal Weapon, on the other hand, are abilities. They come together with light attacks but are separate skills in the damage report. They cost resources and GCDs. The werewolf light attack Bleed is not an ability that you cast; it does not use resources or a GCD. The developers, per Gina, consider that particular Bleed from the werewolf morph to be part of the light attack and therefore subject to its limitations with respect to status effects.

    I thought the current status quo was that Proc Sets can proc Status Effects, but not be procced by them?
