What are you talking about?
Am I crazy or did they not just increase the non frost builds from 2% damage to 6% damage?
non frost builds will still benefit from the chilled proc status bonus damage, and double dipping into crit damage was a bad idea so they aren't doing that anymore.
i don't .... i literally don't understand
pre U35 wardens had 10% crit damage and up to 12% damage increase based off the number of animal skills slotted, usually 6% or 8%.
now they have 6% damage increase and up to 24% crit damage, usually 12% to 16%.
Can someone explain to me how this is a catastrophe?

They didn't.
Non-Frost Staff damage is still at 2%. They raised Frost Staff damage from 10% to 12%.
Mashmallow has screens in another thread but I'm looking at the passive on the PTS and it is 2% and 12%.
Warden already wasn't a popular choice for dps, I cannot comprehend why this is happening. I main a brittleden for dps so I should be celebrating doing more damage but I just can't. Brittledens already get the benefit of being more defensive and also being a support dps... they shouldn't become THE way to play warden. I agree... this is not "play how you want" this is "ignore the nature part of warden and stamina being an option and fit into this niche subclass".

I generally agree. I really think that piercing cold is the problem now. Glacial presence is great though.
