However, I do respect those who love it and I admire their skill and fortitude. I occasionally drop in to repair keeps and whatever and even try and 'assist' in a siege or two.

Although I am going to admit one thing - I do mostly just scouting missions, and I have a formula I use just for that - I use the speed armor set from Summerset, the Steed Mundus, with divines, of course, on a wood elf with all the speed I can squeeze out of CP's and my falcon wings --- with the sets and health bonuses, I am extremely hard to kill in one hit, and as I am using medium and light armor, I am extremely fast ... and I just run for it ... if you want to chase me, be prepared to be chasing an amphetamine soaked circus monkey --- I can, and will jump off stupidly high things....why, because, A: it amuses me, and B: I have a better chance of survival than you do. And because of this, I can usually get a scouting mission done in 10 minutes, meaning I can get the rewards for the worthy in under an hour.

so, yes, when you see the insanely hopped up Bosmer blow by, mounted, or not......... that's me, and I won't be stopping to attack you.

You can wear what ever you want, but the color that really matters is the alliance shield above your head marking you as friend or fair game.

Now, one of the most effective ways to not get attacked is either use stealth to completely avoid being seen (caveat, if you are seen most players will assume you are a threat) or have high health, high crit resistance, and proactively use your buffs to look like a tough target.

The only thing a ganker can see when they look at you is your health bar. If you've got 40k health and are buffing up so you'll be ready if a fight breaks out, they will more than likely look for another target.

YES. So all tamriel citizens can enjoy the Cyrodiil / IC and get their ticket quests done.
It should be done like in New World, I don't like the game much (and haven't played it much) but I found this a kinda good idea: you can PvP all over the place but you need yourself to flag for it - with all advantages and inconvenient, Cooldown times etc.

    Good idea or not ?

Flag yourself out of PVP, but then be unable to do quests in PVP zones, or pick up resources, or use Keep transit. So basically, be unable to do anything. That actually currently does exist. There is a section in your menu that you navigate to to queue into a PVP environment. Just don't go to that section of the menu and you can opt out of PVP really easily.

Everything in Cyrodil is done with the intention that being attacked and killed by another player is the risk associated with that. If you want spectator mode, where all you can do is watch. Go for it. But wanting to avoid the threat of the zone and gain all the rewards, nope. Just stick to pve.

When I'm in Cyrodiil, if I see someone just strolling around or even making a lengthy trek in order to get to the fight, I'll always extend them the courtesy of leaving them alone. I don't want to fight you if you don't want to fight.

However, in IC, I will fight anyone and anything I come across. It's not personal, I'm not trying to grief you or ruin your day, but I trust absolutely no one in IC and will act accordingly.

At least somewhere other than Gray Host PCNA. Nothing is going to get PvPers wanting to kill Pvers more than them adding to the queues we already have. I mean, I won't tell you what to do but use the information wisely

I get your point, but it's really not much of an issue. You will find that in the non-main campaigns that most people don't even engage in fights. They just run around the towns in cyro and do their daily quests without engaging in combat. It's mostly a non issue really.

they can wear whatever color they want. other players will still attack

This. It is a PvP event and anyone going for a ticket in Cyrodiil is putting themselves out there as a target, as should be the case.

There are usually some campaigns added that are generally fairly empty and unbalanced. Find one where your alliance owns most near the starting bases and go do a quest. There is still a risk of experiencing PvP but it is greatly reduced with this suggestion.

As much as I’d like to say “sure why not, go for it”, the sad reality is, the event in question also brings out the worst in PVE players. Not all, a minority of them, can and will turn on other PVE players just to get a laugh.
Face it, it’s a pvp zone and that’s that. You go in there, you are contracted to abide by the rules of play which are try to survive or get nuked by players looking for easy marks.
I don’t have the skill to do pvp, not anymore at any rate, I still go in there during quiet periods to slowly grind my alliance line by stealing a farm here and a mill there. If I’m attacked, I die, simple as that. I don’t get annoyed, I just hit respawn, and go to another location, capture another point, rinse and repeat.
The same goes for this event (which personally I won’t bother with, because of A- easy marks flooding map + B- the worst type of people come out into the maps).

Yes it was. Got my tickets by excavating every day, and noone could prevent me from getting those tickets. Zeals of Zenithar event also made me get rid of over 800 master writs I had saved up. Which got me quite a few resources and companion gears. 10/10 event.

In PvP any player with a taste for easy targets can prevent others from getting tickets. And can annoy others to no end, making the PvP event very tedious. Not to mention we need to enter atleast two different types of PvP to get ALL three tickets. Which makes it double as tedious and annoying. This event was only created to serve non-PvPers up to PvP players, so they can have their fill. Which is sickening.
Also, can we really call it PvP anymore? Practically noone is looking for actual fights or 1 vs 1's, which I call real PvP. They gank from stealth, gank with huge groups, or bomb from stealth. Nothing that even remotely resembles to what I would call PvP. This is a massgriefing event, plain and simple. 0/10 event!

It is already obvious when players are only in the area for PvE.

Players that get killed on a regular basis the rest of the year use these events to take their frustrations of being bad at PvP out on players that are only there for the event. The players ganking at turn in points or key quest objectives are there to kill you precisely because they see you as an easy target and wearing green might as well be a big ole bullseye. Most are not even real PvP type players. The real PvP'rs tend to leave questers alone.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."
