If they must change something, replace Major Heroism with something equivalent. Anything else will be disappointing.

the other pattern is there will always be people complaining that something is op. nerf this and it will be something else - it is constant.
If you watch the pattern over the years... you recognize this as stronger than the other mythics they previously nerfed or changed. Malacath and pale order are still useable, so is the torc.
They overtune these things to sell them. This time, they over did it with the lead grind on an item that was warned to be too much from pts testers.
I saw this pattern again and decided to pass on it this time. This must be a power budget outlier in no proc campaigns. It's made waves in the GH campaign. Turn Heroism into Slayer. Pvp players have used trial gears with it before if they liked the gear enough.
I've seen class buffs, including the sorc buff recently thate are way more OP then this ring, the ring works a bit too good with certain combinations but that's a class problem, not a mythic problem.
I tried the ring and it works pretty well in PVP, it makes things easier but I really miss a second bar.
You loose a backbar set and 5 skills, including a second ultimate for flexibility, that's a pretty big sacrifice.
No you haven't. There is math involved here that proves you have not seen class buffs that exceed what Oakensoul does.

It's a amateur game design. :'( Keep it more professional work.

What's going to happen if ZOS follows their recurring habit is that Oakensoul will be joining Thrassians Stranglers, Ring of the Pale Order, Malacath's Band of Brutality, and Harpooners Wading Kilt in the "Club of Mythic Items who got Nerfed once their Chapter wasn't Brand New."
I mean...it's a pattern now.
What I'd like to see is ZOS commit to balancing Mythic Items right the first time, instead of releasing Items only to nerf them an update or two later when it turns out the PTS warnings were correct.
But that would mean less sales from people who want those exclusive Mythic Items for the two-three months where they're powerful, so it won't happen.

I would hope that after all the struggles people went through to actually GET this ring, that they wouldn't nerf it... but this is ZOS, it's what they do. They buff an item when it comes out, and then nerf it a month or two later after people have spent HOURS, if DAYS, of their lives just trying to acquire it. Besides, hearing the stories of people who are disabled and have truly been helped by this ring, I would hope that for once they'd do the right thing and leave it alone.

I’m just going to pick on the “SUPER GOD MODE IN PVP” part.
I wore the ring in pvp, I certainly did NOT have god mode, because in truth, I actually SUCK at pvp.
Where the “GODMODE” comes in, is when experienced pvp players utilise it to face roll and stomp.
Pvp is always like this- new thing comes out, it’s awesome> pvp players obtain it and use it> pvp players who don’t have it, or don’t want to get it end up pub stomped because adaptation goes out the window due to new shiny> small minority cries for nerf> nerf happens> PVE players get done up the duff.
I swear, we could strip pvp players down to loin cloths, and arm them with sticks, with no skills, no buffs, no anything. Just a stick. And some one out there will cry “THAT STICK IS OVERPOWERED IT NEEDS NERF”!!! Because they’re getting steamrolled by a player who’s more experienced.

PvP players are not the problem. Stop it.
Not ALL pvp players are the problem. It’s the minority who cry that things are busted therefore scream for nerfs.
The ring was in a good spot for PVE.
