What isnt healthy is playing a game you do not like or flooding the forums with negativity. Now I get to listen to it for another 5 days. Ah well after that we will finally get some peace around here and get help with actual problems.
I realize there is an issue with flooding the mantel with redundant threads. But that's with any given topic and not just crit threads. However, no one is forcing me to open and then actually read them.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »What isnt healthy is playing a game you do not like or flooding the forums with negativity. it has absolutely nothing to do with one hating the game. In fact, it can be argued that one loves the game so much that they are passionate enough to express their discontent on issues that will prevent them from actually playing a game that is part of a series they have grown to endure over the past 10+ years.
The latest patch update address some if not most of the issues that they are disgruntled about. I'd dare say some of them are more passionate and have an immense love for the game than a large percentage of the existing player base.
Its pretty simple. It says you must have an active sub. If you cancelled you do not have an active sub. These free days are for paying customers. Not people who just want a few extra days before they quit.
If they decide that some customers are more equal than others in terms of being recompensed for lost time that said customers paid for by buying the game, they will insure that a whole bunch of on-the-fence folks don't resubscribe.
You may think there are only two camps of people... people who are going to subscribe no matter what, and people who are going to quit no matter what. You would be wrong - there is a 3rd camp of people who will decide their subscription status based on how well ZeniMax sorts out their various gameplay and customer service failures.

So you come into a forum for people wondering if they will get the five days even though you have it and complain about getting peace because you want don't to argue with them?
And many people in CS are because they have unresolved problems and why they un-subbed in first place
Still sticking with that falsehood, even after I'd corrected you?jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »What isnt healthy is playing a game you do not like ...
What negativity? I'd posted very legitimate reasons for unsubscribing to this game, including reasons I'd be resuming the subscription. You seem to read a great deal into things that aren't there.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »... or flooding the forums with negativity.

There are two camps of people you are right. One accepts that there will be bumps in the road and enjoy the overall focus and direction of the game. The other camp expects them to completely re-write the game from scratch and change every aspect of it. Those people are unreasonable and an extra 5 days isnt going to make a difference. Yet they insist on using that time to flood the forums with posts like "You never communicate!" and "I dont like how grouping works and phasing so redo the entire game!".
They arent going to get rid of phasing or change fundamental aspects of the game. If you dont like those then you dont like the game. If you dont like the game an extra 5 days isnt going to make you like it. People like me are very happy because I wont get billed for the time I was unable to play.

I read about one guy that had 22 tickets in on his quest block. And we wonder why customer service is flooded. 22 tickets submitted on one issue. *sigh*. Those are the people that will never be happy.

Noone is saying things shouldnt be fixed. What I am saying is you shouldnt sit here all day every day (like you do from your post history) and bash them incessantly. PVP is but one part of a huge game. They will work on it when they can. You going around saying all these hateful things about them just makes everyone not even want to use the forums.

I don't think anyone can disagree with that. It is those few that are among the masses and sadly it is that small group that everyone else, with anything negative to say about the game be that constructive or otherwise, is getting thrown into. Just because you have concern or even haven't committed to a revolving plan does not automatically make you apart of that minority.I read about one guy that had 22 tickets in on his quest block. And we wonder why customer service is flooded. 22 tickets submitted on one issue. *sigh*. Those are the people that will never be happy.

Be fair, this forum community is not as bad as all that. Its more of about 100 bratty vocals that are poisoning it. I've helped and been helped by alot of people in this forum. And the other 999k people are jsut playing the game enjoying it.

The ability to be able to group in PvP in an MMO is a REAL problem...or did all the other successful MMO get it wrong over last seven years?
Not going to get into the THOUSANDS of other bugs or problems
We all wanted to see ESO successful, or we'd have not paid for the game in the first place.

Grouping in PvP can cause many players to get forcefully booted offline, either to character select, to login, or a full CTD. This has been an ongoing issue since early access. Not everyone is affected by it, but if you get in a large group in Cyrodiil, you can regularly see part of your group listed as offline for no obvious reason - this is why.
