If you choose to level using random group finder then what you get is what you get. If you want to control how you level in group finder then maybe you should consider putting a group together of similar minded people.Recently I was leveling up several new characters, and random normal daily always ended up to be as: one high CP player runs forward and rushes the dungeon ignoring the 3 low level comrades completely.
Some of them are doing the quest on their alt, others experiencing the dungeon for the very first time. Yet, it is extremely rare to meet the high CP grinder who would take a look around and would not be a selfish [snip].
I know there are good people who won't mind to wait for newbies, because I myself am one of them. But in my recent experience in alt characters it seems like almost everyone is a hurrying selfish grinder in modern random normal runs.
If I was ZOS, I'd actually disable random normal for level 50+ characters. What would you do? And would you do anything?

More so now that RNDs give 10 transmutes for the first on each character daily.
So I'm one of those people that rush through.
If someone says they're doing the quest though, I always wait.
Majority of people are there for transmutes or xp. Most "low levels" are alts. So I play the dungeon like it, unless told otherwise.

If they want it super fast, they can settle for a normal dungeon with less rewards. I firmly believe they can motivate the high levels out of normals, and actually have it be in everyone's best interest as well.
I get that crossing the paths of high end players with lower ones can have interesting outcomes that can be positive. This happens all the time in PvP. The problem in dungeons is that's not the motivation to be there, and the players are motivated by such different objectives that they often dislike each other (to say the least) with objectives at odds.
so if you like taking your time exploring and reading lore, it doesn't make any sense to try to do it in a random normal.

The same could be said for that one guy hanging way back checking every single container and not contributing to any of the fights. Is that better than one guy rushing ahead?
