Same with the arrow with the bow/nightblade. I prefer replacing the arrow with the disc/rune.0 -

In dark souls there are multiple spammables to use and they are somewhat unique.
Lightning spear which can be fired instantly or charged up for more damage.
Lightning arrow which can be fire instantly or be hold indefinatly. Nightblade bow, but cooler
Lighting strike which is basicaly mages wrath.
Soul darts/spears which are crystal fragment, but instant.
Dark soul spears which are basicaly necromancer skulls.
Magic swords which are crystal weapons but with cooler animations.
These are just examples from souls series, you can check other games and find even more/better examples, but zos is zos.

Zos can do better than the current spammables.
