GOLDEN CLOVER GUILD is offering a bounty to the first person on PC EU with details on the drop location on how and where to obtain the lead for the Petrified Oak Loop !
The bounty for this will be set to 1 million gold for any player on the European Server and paid when the info for the lead has been confirmed by the OP @marius_buys

There is also a 1M bounty offered on PC NA by someone. It's a great idea so I decided to post a bounty for PC EU.Contact me if you want to up the bounty or just add your bounty by posting it here on this thread.

    There's a lead in new trial. I didn't pay attention which one, but trial is on a ship while there's a lot of wood there

    I would ask trial people to confirm, but I know there were really happy to get the lead.

    A lot of the adds are skipable in new trial but I think it dropped with add so be careful.

    We were running before gaint matience so I don't recall.

    But if nobody could find it on pts. Then there's a good chance it's in the trial. Another thing is not everyone kills the adds so another reason why I think it could be there

    I will pay attention tommorow when I do trial to see if anyone loots it.

    Just a question: Does the lead for Oakensoul Ring only drops in this one Crab boss Stormhaven ?

    I am asking because usually if a one WB in a PvE zone drops a lead for a mythic - then all of the other world bosses in that zone can drop it. Idk if it is a "bad luck" or simply bad design. What were your experience ? Did any one got a lead from other WB boss ?
    Currently it is impossible to even get a loot drop from that boss. Only top 12 players get the loot, and groups are preferred, meaning that if a 12 man group combined did more damage, then even if some players in this group are afk - they will get the loot, while players that are outside of a group that did more - get nothing. I did around 30K dmg to that boss & still no loot - and the boss melts in like 3 seconds. Often hits don't even register. I tried at 2 am and it was still camped. Tried today at 8 am and it is still camped.... So it is worse than IC bosses lol. 1 boss is definitely too little for the entire server...

    I would guess it drops from a dungeon (dlc, last boss).

    All recent mythics had one lead from a dungeon, and this one has none in the other four indentified leads.

    Ok I may be wrong but they did confirm their main reasoning behind this Mythic was for accessibility, so I don't think then they would go put it in a DLC dungeon. I do agree the usual dungeon lead seems to be missing so I was thinking Volenfel as it is dessert and full of treasure hunters, that is where where one might find something petrified. Just a guess.

    Is there a spriggan world boss anywhere that could have it? Perhaps the Ancient Spriggan in Elden Hollow?

    "Accessibility" is a problem with this mythic if it is indeed true that only one World Boss in Stormhaven drops the lead, cuz it is camped 24/7 and one can just not out-dps a 12 man group as groups have "preferential" treatment when it comes to loot drops. Group is treated as "one" and you would have to deal more damage solo than the entire group (all players combined) in order to get loot drop. And if the group consists of 12 players, then only 12 players gets the loot - as there is a cap. I did consistent 30K dmg to this boss & no loot drop at all.

    I just droped it without group with about 30 people around.

    I doubt this "preferential treatment" really exists or works the way you think it does.
