No it does even back when you could do 24 man guild zone clears for the newer members only the top 12 dps could get loot from WB. That being said I do believe they made it so with leads that as long as you get a hit on said boss you have a chance for a drop.

Only top 12 could get the loot, but you could also have scenarios where other people outside of group would get drops and less than 12 in your group would get drops. It only takes into account the individual damage done against the boss.

Healers and tanks don't need the mythic either. They can farm it later for collection if they don't want to use damage build now.

I'm betting its in Grahtwood or Deshaan Dungeon but from something that gives petrification and you need a group or companion. Saplings / Bosses made out of wood materials that have mechanics ?

Dolmens -CHECK
WORLD BOSS - CHECK
KILL any monster - CHECK

My guess - Would be in Lair of Maarselok ! You have Azure lurchers made out of wood the ads are spriggens.

It at least used to be a problem. It happened to me deep down in the center of the Imperial Sewers where for some spawns I'd get loot and for others I wouldn't because I wasn't in the top DPS that time.
It shouldn't happen like that at all. Why even have the limit? What purpose does it serve? So nobody can just quickly tag a boss and claim the loot like they contributed?
As for the thread topic, I'm surprised nobody knows where this lead drops? Was it not tested and found on PTS? I've never been on PTS so maybe it doesn't work that way?
