tyfg (Thank you for group) - most dungeons
gg (Good group, good game) - if the group was very good (vet dungeons)
great job, tank - if the tank actually tanked well.

I will type /lt for lootlog if someone requested a specific item at the beginning.

I used to use gg, but everyone scatters at the end of the dungeon so I'm pretty much talking to a wall.

Generally tyfg for most dungeons, and gg for Battlegrounds. I maaaay not say those if the BG or dungeon were particularly frustrating, or if everyone who isn't grouped with me, i.e. friends or people in voice chat, leave before I can say anything.

GG leaves a bitter taste in my mouth from experiences in shooter-games. Its often used sarcastically it feels, but that is a me thing maybe?

So I either write something like tyfg, or 'have a nice day' in /say. Just cus we just got done with a dungeon with 3 other strangers, and I do hope they have a good day during their free time in Tamriel.

Generally I say "TY Guys."

Even when I did 80% of the DPS, took over from the fake tank after the first pull and kept everyone healed. It feels like I'm being sarcastic in those situations but no, I really am thanking them for being there

I'm too old and conservative...
That's why I don't like to use "GG/TYFG", so I say "Thank you all for the group. Have a good one!" Or "Thanks for a nice run. Cheers!". Even if everything was bad... I say "Thanks, take care", kind words are better than add more negative...

Tend to link gear I have in sticker book, but that is pretty standard in guilds.

British PC player here, so I have the luxury of a keyboard to type whole words, and I tend to say things like 'cheers' or 'thanks for the run' or whatever. I always say some variation of hi at the start, too. It's rather pleasant when others actually respond!

I say "thanks for the group!" because I think it means more to not write shorthand.

gg just because it's the quickest to type on a gamepad before the group begins to disband without saying anything because they didn't think it was GG but I still think it was GG

What is the point? Usually, it is us providing a service to them by carrying them through the content. Even so, rarely are their confessions of praise and cherish for these deeds.

I usually type out "Thank you for the run" often followed by "Anyone looking for anything?" Also every time I see "GG" I can't help but think that it means "Good Grief" so I don't use it.
