Why don't you do some grocery shopping or clean the house anyway, irrespective of when the servers come back online?
Not trying to troll, but why is it imperative that you be sat at your computer when the servers come back online when you have chores that could be done?

lol I was out to dinner with a bunch of friends a few days ago (2 of whom play ESO) and I found myself saying out loud "Argh, I forgot to feed my horse before leaving home!"Because I want to feed the horse and start research timers before I do that.. don't want to miss a few hours on those.

Could have spent these hours until I have to go on my business in the morning by playing the game. It's a free day for me and the weather is not that great outside. I log in and see it's bloody maintenance that came to me a bit unexpectedly because wait...wasn't already one a couple of days ago? All in all I get that it it is needed to fix bugs and make our game experience better, but if it starts at 7 AM and it's already 11AM here...you expect it to be over already.

Because it is his/her life? They choose to do whatever they want? You do not see them telling you how or what to do in your life.
I'm just amazed that server maintenance can take as much as 5 hours o.O
Guess my other games have spoiled me
