With the Armory and six characters, you can go a long long way to playing every possible build within a class and race. This is an amazing tool that can do almost everything you need it to do to respec a character.
Personally, I don't chase race. I patiently wait for ZOS to homogenize the races so that they are different in only cosmetics.

But then make every daily "thing" in the game account wide. It will make thoes with "force tendencies" don't feel like they are missing out because they don't have 17+ alts...
The value of the "dalies" wiĺl increase. The enjoyment of the game will increase, since we will feel less of a"must". The overall experience will increase, since we will actually have time to do the things we want to do.
No. People need to take responsibility for their own actions. There is no ‘must’ dictated by the game, only by the player.
When you log in, you chose what you want to participate in at that time.

The armory solved nothing to me. I like making characters, not builds. Different races, gender, class, personality, background etc.
With Account Wide Achievements reducing the database footprint of accounts by an order of magnitude, can we PLEASE revisit the 18 character limit we have been stuck at for the last 4 years?
WoW allows you 50+ characters! Surely ESO's servers have room to accommodate a few more slots to keep veteran players engaged?
You get to sell more characters slots = MONEY.
Veteran players who love the game stay engaged = MONEY.
It really seems like a win-win and as I said AWA really should have removed a TON of redundancy from account database complexity.
I feel this is a really overdue improvement.
@ZOS_Kevin any idea if this is something that is at all possible we might see? Thanks!
Me too, but like with tools, the right tool for the job. ESO is not a good tool for that job. ESO about player experience and player capabilities. That is the focus, and it always has been. There are better tools (aka games) out there for playing characters.

If you don't want more slots fine. It seems super odd that you would dictate to other players who play differently than you how many character slots are adequate, or don't have any more being offered. It doesn't affect YOU, how many characters other players choose to develop

ESO is an MMORPG, in the Elder Scrolls franchise. A franchise of RPGs known for its sandboxyness to make the characters we want to make, play, and make stories with.
It should be a good game for me to make characters with. I shouldn't need to think of wanting some other "tool".
If they allow us to sell our unused character slots at the guild store it would solve the problem. I have one or two unused character slots.
