Shortage of fake tanks and fake healers

Hard taunts are irrelevant in a RND. Whoever's at the front is usually soft taunting with wall of flame or something similar. Most bosses will never lose soft taunt unless they have a mechanic or jump that ignores taunt. If the burn is too slow, you might see bosses move towards players that are attacking from beyond a certain range limit. DDs should really know better and just sit on the tail.

This is why people complain about “fake tanks.” These are normal dungeons. They are made for turkeys and noobs. Of course they are not going to stack on the boss. And of course you will be doing 90%+ of the dps. You should expect that. Is it really so hard to slot a taunt and keep the boss still? It is trivial. Slotting inner rage makes everything go faster and more smoothly and it costs you nothing.

After reading all of this it seems that the Damage Dealers who queue as tanks or healers seem to be saying that their DPS is so awesome that they shouldn't have to wait the extra 10-15 minutes in the random queue. And if the other people in the dungeon have a problem with that it's because their DPS is poor. I think that if fakers are that good they should solo (as mentioned by others), but if they need a group then the group is owed respect. When you sign on as a role, tank, healer ect. it's sort of like a contract you've said that you'll provide support to the group, you owe it to the group to provide that support.

Those crappy Damage Dealers want to have fun too, you signed up to help them with that by taking a support role. If your DPS is that great shouldn't you be able to slot one or two of those support skills and still kills bosses/mobs quickly?

If fakers are that good then it shouldn't be a huge deal to slot a taunt and be a somewhat better fake tank.

It's just elitist attitude through and though. "I'm so good that I should be treated special."

Frankly, pugs have become a true sideshow of idiot behavior since I played years ago. Let me see if I can list some of the most horrendous offenses:

    1. Racing so far ahead that the one or two left behind have little chance to catch up.
    2. Racing so far ahead that you pull and trigger countless mobs along the way leaving those behind you caught in that mess, trying to kill, escape, catch up... what a shtshow
    3. Fake healers losing their minds if someone dares to ask them to heal.
    4. Fake healers watching rest of the group except for them die then doing some hero BS where they waste 5 minutes soloing because they can't even be bothered to try to rez. Even when opportunities presented themselves, they prefer to continue solo.
    5. Fake healers getting enraged when at the next boss they decided they should rez because in that situation it suited them but people chose to remain dead because of lack of heals from said fake healer.
    6. Players taking tantrums because they have raced ahead and someone wanted the quest and god forbid they have to give a damn that another person is playing the game.

Basically, it's a side show of some of the most emotionally immature behavior one could ever fathom. But since it's maybe 15-20 minutes of tolerating it to get what I want to get done, I just go along, like so many other players I have come across in game. And even then, it's still quicker than going through a guild to group with people if I am the tank or healer.

This behavior has always existed in this game, but it was not anywhere the extreme I see now.
