I just want to say these are great additions.
Bringing back the indriks this way is a great way to make them accessible to newer players or those who missed them without impacting those who already have them. I do wish the berries and babies were 5 tickets instead of 10, like the feathers were reduced.

The companion guild commendations are a nice addition too. Not sure if I'll buy any (since I'll be backfilling my indriks), but it's nice to have some varied alternatives to spend spare tickets on.

I found this an indirect way to monetize companions, beyond their connection to chapters--usually tickets are enough for all the morphs and getting the base pet, and during events there's more collectibles to be gotten (and some style pages have bad drop rates) so there's not enough tickets left over for extra stuff, so this seems like an incentive to buy tickets from the store. And it ties up with the fact that during Jubilee, the pet need both fragments and tickets, which never happened before, and worm cult motifs were behind grab bags, which can only be gotten by tickets. Thus, it seems the order of the day is 'find more ways to make ticket sales increase'.

I'm happy that we will be able to get the indriks and whatever else they choose to add in the future. However I'm not so happy that to get them and get the current ticket items I will have to use the cash shop. Guess we'll have to decide how badly we want them.

I think there's a balance between giving people something to spend their extra tickets on and allowing people to catch up, and having too much stuff that pushes towards monetization.

Having spent tickets on group repair kits in the past I think it's good to have alternatives. The companion leveling thing seems like a fair thing that is useful but can be accomplished in game already so you're not really missing out if you can't get it.

Personally I think the grab bags are a nice catch up mechanic and 2 tickets is mostly a fair price for what's in them.

I do share some of your fear about style page drop rates, but they've always been all over the place event to event, so I'll reserve judgement on that. It sounds like for Zeals of Zenithar the drop rates will be more abundant.

As for the spider, fragments+tickets hasn't happened before, but a) the drop rate of the fragments means it was really just tickets and b) it's permanently available. So I don't think it's that bad, on par with previous ticket pets and without the time limited exclusivity.

I wish they had done it like this:

Current setup = 5 or 10 tickets. You can pick and choose exact Indrik you want and focus on your personal most desired items.

Indrik Grab Bag = 2 tickets. Will contain a feather, berry, or pet you do not have. Cheap but random.

Plenty of people have been asking for more worthwhile things to spent event tickets on, and this should appeal to many of them.

Lots of players see event ticket items as "free" things to earn, so I don't buy that these are just greedy cash grabs. Seems to benefit the most frugal and the most spendy players.

Will Doomchar Plateau come back? I'm like only halfway done with the fragments!

I definitely agree that it would be nice if they reduced the price of the Indrik berries, even if it's just down to five event tickets. With how it is right now, it will take several years for new players to get caught up on Indriks while still also keeping current with the ongoing event. I know that being up to date and having full collections aren't necessary, but it is something that many completionist players will be striving towards.

Overall though, I am really happy to see that they're allowing people who missed out to get their Indriks now!

Edit: Definitely will say that I am glad to see that they reduced the feather cost, that'll greatly help collections.

They let you gain a guild level (fighter, mages or undaunted) for you companions. Best used at level 8 or 9 if you don't like grinding them.
    They're 3 tickets each.

Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. The PTS patch notes
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/603795/pts-patch-notes-v8-0-1#latest
    Companion Guild Commendations
Coming with the Zeal of Zenithar event, we are introducing a new consumable item that the Impresario will sell in perpetuity (whenever she’s around). By purchasing these commendations and using them while an active Companion is out, you immediately advance the Companion to the next skill rank of the associated guild (from among Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Undaunted). As new companions will be introduced over time, we will not disallow you from buying these even if all your current Companions are fully leveled but exercise care in over-purchasing!

    New Indrik Vendor: Nenulaure
We're not done yet! In the event you never had a chance to finish any of your Indriks, or if the normal morphing collectible items don't suit your fancy, or if you're new and have a surplus of tickets, there is a new Indrik Vendor, Nenulaure, at the Belkarth festival grounds starting with this event. Here's how she works:

Any time the Impresario shows up in ESO, not just during Zeal of Zenithar, the Indrik Vendor will appear in Belkarth. She will offer a selection of past Indriks from previous years based on the season, with a cycling inventory as seasons change (lining up with event starts/ends when the seasonal change would happen in the middle of an event).
She will always offer the Nascent Indrik feathers, which are now 5 Event Tickets each.
She will have all four berries for each of the two seasonal Indriks on offer for that season, plus the two baby Indrik pets that match them, for 10 Event Tickets each.
The Indriks will cycle by season and return in the following year if you missed them. The seasonal rotation (subject to change) is as follows:
Spring (start of year): Dawnwood and Spectral Indrik berries, plus Springtide and Haunting Indrik pets
Summer (middle of year): Luminous and Icebreath Indrik berries, plus Shimmering and Rimedusk pets
Autumn (after Zeal and before Witches Festival): Onyx and Mossheart Indriks, plus Ebon-Glow and Sapling pets
Winter (Witches Festival to end of year): Pure Snow and Crimson Indriks, plus Frost-Light and Rosethorn pets
All Indriks won't come back for New Life Festival like we do with the year's Morphing Collectibles or previous years' entire Indrik catalogue.

At this point, you're just describing the recurring revenue structure free to plays and MMO's use behind everything they design which is not really a conspiracy theory.

    It's a plus nonetheless.

They let you gain a guild level (fighter, mages or undaunted) for you companions. Best used at level 8 or 9 if you don't like grinding them.
    They're 3 tickets each.

i honestly find this a complete waste of event tickets, i would never ever buy that

with this update it takes 1 single daily for 1 full companion skill rank for say undaunted or fighters guild

even doing only 1 daily per day with no shares that is max of 10 days to max out all of their skill lines which only need to be ranked up once per account

with 6 shares a day you could effectively max out 1 guild skill line in ~1.5 days of dailies, even 2 per day is 1 week (5 days) of dailies

now if that item gave you 1 full level of rapport, that might be worth something then

I also started playing late into the Indrik cycle and didn't know they would go away and am holding 3/4 berries that without this change I couldn't use. I suppose some people without patience will buy tickets but I have no plans to and think this is a great way to spend my surplus tickets.

Yeah...I agree that the commendations aren't a cash grab, just something for players to spend tickets on if they don't want anything currently on offer or have surplus tickets. I bought my first couple of repair kits during this last event, since I had some extra tickets.

Not everyone wants every single item available during these events, so it's nice to have other things to spend excess tickets on. I'll likely just buy group repair kits rather than the commendations, but it's nice to have them on offer.

And, I think the ticket price for the Indriks is just right. Mark down the feathers to five tickets, but leave the berries at 10 tickets. I get that it might take new players longer to get them, if they want EVERYTHING there is from events, but I don't want to see the Indriks under-valued. That said, I would take no issue with them lowering the berries, and even the pets, to 5 tickets. However, for players just needing to fill in missing fragments, I think the price point is right.

I think it's great to have Indrik feathers and berries available again for those who weren't around from the beginning on them, or who didn't get a chance to finish them! Also nice to have the feather price reduced to match collectible price for current base creatures.

    However - there's a problem.

Feathers and berries should NOT be available for purchase if they CANNOT be used.

This should be a very simple check in the code. Please add it!

If the collectible associated with a feather or berry has already been collected, it shouldn't be possible to purchase it.
