Zos: What's the Drop Cooldown for Saberkeel Style Pages?

Since you've limited the drops to 1/day, how is the cooldown handled?

If I did my writs this morning at 10-11 and I do them now that the "next day" has flipped and they are available does it have a chance to drop?

Do I need to wait 20 hours? 24 hours?

Either way: This will really end up hurting some players that aren't able to just do their writs on the dot in the morning each day, they will essentially end up losing a day or more of for a drop chance.

(Also, this limitation was a horrible idea IMO).

If it helps, I pulled a page this morning at around 11am my time and just now got one 8 minutes past the writ/pledge flip time so about 15 hours apart. Also just got one on my second account that pulled the first at around noon, so about 14.5 hours apart.

Based on that info, I'd assume the cooldown resets at the writ/pledge reset time, but it may help to get some more info from others to solidify that theory.

I didn’t get one after re-set.

Edit: got one on 3rd character’s writs after re-set.

Well, on top of the daily cap, the drop rate is pretty low, too. How many did you open after reset? It's entirely possible that you were just unlucky.

Some of my accounts got lucky and got it within the first dozen boxes on the first day.

But a few of my accounts were not so lucky and didn't get one even after 40 boxes on the first day.

(I play on multiple accounts on both servers, so I really do mean accounts, not characters.)

It may not be a guaranteed drop (like Second Seed wasn't), and if you do get one, it'll be the only one until whenever the reset is.

I got one after reset, and one sometime after the first started. Don't remember when but less than 20 hours. So that must mean it resets when the writs reset.

@code65536 Yeah, same. Didn’t have a chance to do anything other than just eat ticket cake on my Alts today, but tomorrow will start to farm at least enough dailies on each to hopefully get a page.

So far I got two saberkeel style pages. The pages appear to drop randomly, but it seems there is a one per day limit. So just keep opening anniversary boxes until you get a saberkeel style page.

I got mine without there being a 20h timer or anything, as I got my second right after the crafting daily reset today. So the pages seem to drop once per daily quest reset(just like the tickets).

My first page was received with my first character right after the servers came back online yesterday, and the second page was received on my second character after the daily quest reset. Hope this info helps!

140 boxes yesterday evening (4 to 5ish EST), got a Saberkeel page. 72 boxes this morning around 6am EST, no Saberkeel. Guess I'll be doing WB dailies later.

With a limit of one page per day and not guaranteed, I can only imagine what the guild trader prices will be at the end of this event.

I opened 7 boxes today and I suspect you already know what I received, yes a Saberkeel Girdle.

Yeah, looks like I'm going to spend tickets on Saberkeel pages until I fill out the set and worry about dragon fragments in the next event. Can't wait to see the over 9000 spider parts in the guild bank at the end of the anniversary...

On my main account, I got one style page yesterday sometime close to 6 pm EDT. I got another one this morning between 7 and 8 am EDT. So my best guess is the cool down is only until daily quest reset.

See, now this is why the game should have a set daily reset time for all container loot drops. Variable, invisible timers are not user-friendly.

These drop rate limits are VERY discouraging. I've been 100+ boxes a day since the event started and I've gotten 1 page. There are no guarantees you'll get one after the reset and no way to see a reset timer. Now if you want a spider pot piece, they drop on every box. I agree that the style pages need some limits but doing it blindly without a guarantee is unfair.

The drop rate on pages is literally less than 0.75% it seems. I open over 20 boxes a day and haven't gotten a single page.

Today I received a Meridian motif and after that I started seeing spider parts which makes me think after you receive any motif or style page you can't pickup another until after reset. I still might have been able to get a Saberkeel page but with the way the event has been going I stop after I get my tickets and have a Saberkeel page or start seeing spider parts.

Based on findings posted by others here on the forums, reset for this style page seems to be the universal daily reset. Several players have gotten style pages to drop well within 20 hours but on either side of the daily reset. I hope they seriously reconsider the once per day limit, but at least it isn’t on a hidden 20-hour timer.

Not convinced at all on the drops.

I have a sneaking suspicion theres a cooldown timer that is short but is being reset every quest box opened or received.

We have seen it previously and from the amount of drops between the people in just one of my guilds there is something not right.

I hope zos at least responds even if we do not like the reply.

Yet again non existent communication.

I've done them for 2 days and got 2 pieces (of course both the same one), roughly 24 hours apart. When noticed the limit of 1 per day from here on i will open them until i get 1 and stockpile the rest.

Less fun having to wait, but better odds of getting the first style in a while I've liked.

I'm at 3/3 in terms of pages gotten/days played. The first day I got my drop in the morning. Yesterday I had to get upwards of 85 boxes in the evening before I saw a Saberkeel page. This morning it dropped after about 30 boxes. Based on that it stands to reason that the reset is on the dungeon/daily reset timer and not a flat 24 hours, but the drop rate sucks. If I didn't have 18 characters to do writs on it would probably be borderline impossible with my limited playtime to complete this set without resorting to buying pages.

That's the thing that is frustrating: they gave the style page a rare drop chance. And then they time-gate it too!

Either give it a low drop chance. Or time-gate it. But low drop chance and a time-gate? That's a pretty player-hostile thing to do.

3 days, 3 pages so far for me but then I'm opening about 130+ per day. They do seem to come early - as in the first 20 or so I open each day so far.
