I would like an option to play quest taking place in a cave, delve, fortress or dungeon to be played solo - like those in the harborage. A lot might like that they can just run in and fetch the skyshard, because others have cleared everything already, to me it just kills immersion. I would even pay extra for such an option.

I recall one of the main early arguments against a unified Market Board / "auction house" whatever is that it would be too easily price-manipulated. Having played FF14 a good bit, which does have a unified Market Board instead of guild traders, I think this is not a valid concern.

In fact, I have heard directly from the mouth of one of the leading members of a certain top guild trader based in Mournhold, that they organized runs of Dreugh Wax buying from other guilds and resold at much higher prices to manipulate the price upwards over time. Not that I care one bit, people can do whatever they want. Just saying it's an invalid argument against having a universal selling system if it's happening with the guild trader system.

I saw this immediately when I used it for the for first time. When you sell an item, you see all the cheapest prices that are available on your server, and you can buy them from anywhere. Unless you see things that are waaaaaay lower than the market value, it's simply not worth flipping because you'll get undercutted easily, and everyone can see the price of recent sales. Not to mention that odds are someone is gonna get a particular deal before you, as again, everyone sees everything from any market board.

Having played or tried most everything in the last 18 years or so, ESO is really among the best ever.

There is only one real shortcoming compared to some of the other popular games out there and that is the small number of classes available.

Just as an example , BDO has 22 classes FFXIV has 19 which is something a lot of people find appealing in games.

This would likely boost the popularity of ESO as well. It's the one thing I've always thought the game needed.

You sort of get a wider variety with how each class can tank, heal, stam and mag dps. I know what you're saying, but I guess I never felt this because you have a limited amount of char slots and each class can already do 4 potential roles.

I joked about STO earlier, but when I think about it, there is on thing I do miss from STO (or, earlier STO as it has been removed now) - the ability to make your own little quests and stories that others can take part of. Player made miniquests, as it were. Some of them were silly or basic, but some were extremely well done and interesting.

I loved the foundry back when it was a thing in STO. I don’t think it would work here, but it was awesome.

If I were to pick something from another MMO to add it would be something like Hunter per tanning in WOW. Attached to the warden class maybe.

A base game minimap would be amazing.

A group finder tool that allows you to post groups to a list and allow players to directly apply to join any listed group. No more hanging around specifically in Craglorn to join trials. You can just keep an eye on a single game wide list.

Class change. This one is probably a bit controversial, but personally I would enjoy the option.

The ability to turn off other player pets visually. I heard that the new game everyone is playing has this option and it almost made me download and play it for that reason alone. I'm absolutely sick of flappy crap all over the place. My immersion is wrecked until this option is implemented.
Not just pets: companions also, so the game doesn't continue to resemble "Attack of the Clones".

Those games have more freedom lorewise for classes... Eso has few options tbh.

A class that uses dwarven machines and gadgets seems like one of the few remaining options.

My opinion is one i personally wouldn't even want myself im just sooo goshdarn used to it in every other mmo that im impressed eso has foregone it for this long.

And thats flashy mounts/costumes/accessories that arent even remotely lore appropriate.

When I was younger my mmo of choice was TERA, im talking tweens young, and as a 13 year old girl you dont realise how pedo filled a game is untill you look back at how every grown man had an Elin (chibi animal girl race that look 12) with a maid dress that doesn't even cover their underwear, or a fetishized police costume or way-too-short qipao dress.

The fashion scrolls player (and also admittedly biased biromantic woman) in me wants ALL the options, gimme the chainmail bikinis AND the secy police Halloween costume while also NOTwanting it at all and appreciating that while some items are a stretch to be lore accurate they are based in lore no matter how small that lore is.

I would like to see an option to buy plus with gold. It of course would not include the crowns but would have the craft bag and access to the dlc's. As it is right now I have almost nothing to spend my in game gold on and probably there are many other players in the same situation.

Given the typical exchange rate, that would require a LOT of gold.

I would love if you could grow/farm in your house. I think of Ark, with crop plots that could be placed. Maybe limit the amount of crop plots you could place to reduce the market from being overwhelmed with mats?

This isn't from other mmos that I know of but I really hate shoulders. Having the ability to hide the shoulder like we do the helmet would make my fashion dreams come true.

A lot of guilds trader locations rarely get visited. It would be awesome if there was a new type of Golden vendor that randomly appeared near smaller guild trader areas. It would give other areas a large amount of traffic. I'd say move the furnishing vendor but that would probably feel obnoxious after years of knowing where he is supposed to be.

I agree completely, It's one of the things that makes ESO awesome imho. I like being able to fill all of the roles myself as well when I want to solo hard content. In addition to that, I'm really drawn to the concept of having room for creativity with each class.

At the same time, I feel like there's this gap that needs to be filled. If I could imagine say having maybe two more classes, I think I would be more satisfied.

I agree, and the same goes for hip flaps - they are terrible. This said, ZOS has actually put in effort to make those shoulder pieces to fit better to female bodies - so I appreciate the effort put into that.

    1. Minimap.
    2. Ways to buy eso+ upgrades as a way to future proof your account. So, maybe, you just want the craft bag and +house slots and no crowns. A lower price point, for that could make a lot of people happy. Also, a way to buy extra slots for individual houses.
    3. Upgrading old assets. Seriously. I know all the people who stay don't care, but I feel like a lot of the people who come and go, do care.
    4. To actually send questionnaire to people who stop playing for extended amounts of time. Figure out what games they're playing when they leave, figure out what made them lose interest in ESO and why they're coming back. Figure out how much they're willing to spend on other games & compare it to ESO. There's going to be a subset of people lile my friends, who could be subbing/porpoising, but arent because other games are less annoying.
    5. Clean up the skeevy parts of the crown store.

I don't think this is going to work until they fix their various stability issues, and I don't know of the game engine they have will even allow it like GW2 does.

Also, I specifically hated having to learn different skills for underwater playing in GW2.

So, out of curiosity, why do you want ESO to be more like GW2 rather than just playing it? I assume there's a reason, but I don't want to speculate.

    1. Separate PVE and PVP, drastically and absolutely, dunno, use certain set/skill only in pvp and the other way

    2. Finder for every instanced dungeon/trial/arena, normal and veteran, I don't care if someone complain that there is chance that players can fake roles (always happens in dungeon btw), it's an ESO design fault that one can choose his role freely, I can't stand anymore to wait hours in Craglorn for a chance to do a trial when with a finder I can go around and maybe farm other things. Dont' even mention "you can find a guild who run trial..." I must not be obliged to join a group or guild to do a multiplayer content, MMO is not = you have to join x or y to do things, but you can join

    3. Solo Story mode for every instaced dungeon/trial/arena. I play games to learn their stories, their lore, and if even a dev put togheter a story for these instances, why cant' I enjoy it at my own peace? When I ever will be able to truly savor a trial story? The discussion over the fact that this "mode" should give nothing, not even overland set or gold/mats like every mob you find, is riduculous; or that I should find a guild or someone that do things like me... or worst the typical quote that normal dungeon can be soloable...

    4. Augment the the gold reward, from every source, it's only ridiculous the amount given

    5. Auction house/unified market board, I really don't understand the ones who says that with this method you gain less (unless you are a serial vendor or a trading guild owner maybe)... I play ESO since 2018 and have gained more or less 30M, without doing great endgame content (vet dungeon untill greymoor, but never done vet trial) and farming in other way. I play FFXIV since 8 months in the same manner and have gained almost the same amount... ESO enriches only few people, having limited guild vendors
