Given how the Q2 patches have gone the last two years, I expect some lingering issues that will take months to tix. The known issues post from Gina gives me some worries, especially with camera issues having a "future" patch timeframe. Seeing the problems with the PC patch, I already cancelled my preorder for High Isle. Hopefully it's a smooth launch.

To be fair, Q4 is usually the patch that absolutely annihilates the game. Ain't nothing in Q2 like those Dragonhold and Markarth patches.

Honestly, the game is going to do what the game is going to do - aka be a mess - so I'm way more interested to see how the PS5 trophy list issue is resolved, especially considering I realised this weekend that despite doing a VKAHM prog and a VSSHM prog on my PS5 version, neither of the trophies have unlocked.

There was an ice storm that hit I 95 near Washington DC this past winter that perfectly illustrates my point with that.

I would post a link, but the articles were all behind pay walls. Isn’t it funny how reputable sources are behind pay walls, but knucklehead stuff is perfectly free? That couldn’t possibly lead to trouble.

I am really concerned about the Error 326 bug.

That, to me, is game-breaking, especially since it requires an email be sent to ZOS so that they can "rescue" your character. In the meantime, you're left to take a chance with your other characters because, most assuredly, it's going to take ZOS up to 24 hours to "rescue" your stuck character.

God forbid it happens to more than one of your characters.

Awa implementation hasn't been overwhelmingly popular on pc so far, so that was going to be fun, along with all the hiccups that came after. In the years I've played, while I'm sure it's happened, I honestly can't remember a time we were warned ahead of time that something WILL be broke. With the unfortunate levels of communication we've experienced over the years when things are REALLY bad and now they warn us? Hopefully they are trying to repair the communication deal but I won't lie it made me pucker up. 🐸

I think they'll be issues but probably not the ones we're expecting.

Fairly sure it was this update last year that gave us the massive lag in guild banks and massive lag when destroying things in our inventories.

I'm thinking it'll be something random and completely unexpected like that. Not the same kind of problems PC has had.

And I will say the last 3-6 months they've actually done a good job with the console updates. It was the 6-9 months before that that were a hot mess.

I’m worried. I don’t want to jinx myself by voting. I hope I have the character login sequence ordered correctly so that I don’t lose anything on my main toon or my PvP alt.

Sort of thinking of not playing for a while just in case but I get the shakes after a few days away, lol.

Like mentioned above, something totally new that didn’t happen on PC will probably throw a wrench into things for us.

I'm here before the update hit live. But it's gonna be a thanos snap. There's not been one major update on console that hasn't been catastrophic in some way in recent years. It's been really bad throughout all of 2021, and expecting 2022 to be better is just pure hopium at this point lol.

The vast majority of issues will be experienced due to account-wide achievements bugs and inconveniences. Stuff like tracking skyshards, broken map pins, players logging in on the “wrong” character to claim achievements😓 ..... Whether we have a buggy launch or not only makes it worse.

It’ll be people who don’t follow the forums who suffer most (which are most players).

That warning about Error 326 locking characters and can only be unlocked via a support ticket of questionable time length before resolution is... not a great look.

Also not a great thing heading into double XP event Jesters Festival, followed by Anniversary Event.

How much lost XP/time waiting on characters to be "rescued" when these rando disconnect locks start happening?

System will probably crap itself and we wont get any sort of compensation like last time where anyone with a series x/s couldnt play for more than 2 mins without dc'ing. We'll then get told it will get fixed on their next patch cycle in 2 weeks.

Well given the patch of yesterday PC is making it very difficult for many to login, I doubt it’s going to be any better for console.

You would submit a ticket online (not via your console) here: "There may be rare instances where you could get booted from the game with Error 326 and unable to log back into that character. If you run into this issue, please submit a ticket at account.elderscrollsonline.com."
