Extremely bad unresponsiveness after patch.

    No not one messy patch. The inability to actually play the game starting at 1232am EST this morning. It's been 11.5 hours and I still cannot login. It's not even giving me an error code now it just says Login Failure Try again in a few minutes. That's not one messy patch. ESO has been one massive failure after another. If I wanted to pay $80 dollars for 27gb of useless crap I would have gone and bought a couple copies of OS/2.

    Also Bab can you name one patch so far that hasn't broken more than it's fixed? Because there were less play impacting bugs in beta than now.

    There's been a couple of incidents :P But the actual game is great. Just seems like an excuse to throw the toys out.

So Babs wanna offer a solution to that? Slightly more than one issue as I said. And I know I'm not the only based on the sheer number of threads stating the same issue.

    Yeah, you're spot-on - german language allows for combination of many words to make a completely new word. The base word is Verbesserung, which means improvement. By adding Schlimm - meaning bad - it changes the word to basically ... well you hit the nail on its head :smile:
    Attempted improvement which ended up making it worse. :neutral_face:

    I agree the actual game is great ... now if only I could play it. Can't contact customer support since the account side says under maintenance. Can't contact in game since I can't login. So Babs wanna offer a solution to that? Slightly more than one issue as I said. And I know I'm not the only based on the sheer number of threads stating the same issue.

    You could send an email to customer support...have their address?

    Just to confirm I'm another person seeing this on the NA server - first time I've seen 'proper' lag in the game in a month.

    Oh it's expected after a patch. It's still a new game it will get better. Really you shouldn't be so impatient. I'm having so much fun I don't know why you're complaining.

    These type of posts are used to make the devs aware of the problem (which it did, they responded to it) it's not to just complain.

    Isn't that the autosend one? The one that can't be replied back too? Also I'm fairly certain they state you have to contact them through approved channels or they won't be able to help/respond.

    Ok, thanks guys. We're going to investigate this now.

    I wasn't lagging at first when i logged in, than i died and had to relog to reactivate my vampire passives.... (they deactivate on death for some reason) than i logged back in and got really bad lag, that persisted for about 10 minutes until i logged off.

    I've encountered some lag issues here before, but what we have right now is the worst I've seen thus far with ESO (NA server), both in densely populated areas as well as areas with few folks running around:
    1. Spikes hit every 10 seconds or so and persist 3-10 seconds
    2. During the times of the lag spikes occurring, there's not much that isn't impacted. This includes NPC conversation selections, inventory management, combat, etc.
    3. It appears the issue is server-side. My guestimate on this is because, during combat, I seemed to notice that not only I got "unresponsive", but that the mobs I was fighting encountered similar delays. If this issue was resulting from connectivity-based latency, I would have come back "dead".

    They already said they are investigating it, calm yourself :)

    That email address is fixed. It's the direct support address.

    LOL good luck with the refund part, you bought the license to a service, and have participated in said service for What I'm guessing has been well over a month. And GOD help you if you purchased form the retailer like gamestop. they dont give refunds for computer games EVER. It's in their policy, which you agree to at purchase.

    You should probably chill, cancel sub and come back later.

    It is unplayable right now. I was trying to do a mage quest and died 6 times to various easy mobs and bosses because the game paused intermittantly and my skills were not firing. I then logged off in frustration and am going to wait until something is sorted out to improve this. This is the first instance of lag I have seen other than a bit in Daggerfall at primetime. The patch made it much much worse for me.
