Lag did not happen just after patch. It started 2 hours before the server was taken down for maintenance. I work nightshift, up at weird times lol. Eso needs to know this so they can look in the right place for the bug to step on.

Lag seems to be fixed for me in Cold Harbor & Greenshade now. This time I set my settings back to default and then adjusted them back. Probably just a coincidence but worth noting.

Before that I did a repair, reapply server (NA), restart/reboot everything none of which made any difference.

I'm playing NA server from France.

Everything was really smooth until about 1 or 2 hours BEFORE patch arrives. So I can't tell it's 1.0.6 fault.

Edit : I haven't relog since hours, seems all right now, good work

There are different Internet cable for the traffic between Europe and USA. That's why a lot of people can have issues, when a few others don't.

Was fine in Shadowfen, then zoned into Broken Tusk and it was hideous, especially to start with.

Other things I've noticed with the patch was longer load times and MUCH more responsive and reliable Guild Bank, with many more Enchanting runes.

I agree with this. It started for me about two hours before the NA server was taken down for maintenance. It was no where near as bad as it was when the server was back after the patch, but it was there.

Logged back in 1PM PST - lag seems to be gone, have had no issues for 30+ minutes. Looks like on my end at least, it's been fixed.
I hope the rest of you have had the same luck.

Approx. 2 hrs after the patch the lag seemed to clear up and I played for an hour and a half with virtually no lag, whereas before it had been laughably bad lag everywhere.

NA Server, Stormhaven the whole time.

Still getting lag as of about 3:30PM US central. All abilities have a noticeable delay. Some abilities like switching weapons are taking >1 sec in some fights.

Still having problems with abilities sporadically not responding. What are we suspecting the issue was, DOS attack from angry script kiddies for patching one of their lol botting exploits?

Massive lag in Alik'r Desert, and now getting server dropped for spamming keys when all I'm doing is holding down WASD keys to try to move....

And just to eliminate any other factors - I've relogged, restarted the game, restarted my computer and rebooted my router. Same results. Internet-wise, have a rock-solid 56.3Mbps down / 5.6Mbps up with <10ms latency, 3ms jitter and no dropouts.

Abilities appear to inconsistently queuing up in some cases, but not always. Sometimes, the button press does not appear to be recognized at all while other times after spamming keys, I will see three or four abilities finally go off one after another long after the associated key press. The action parts of the game are pretty much unplayable. Anything challenging certainly is.

This just in, while I was inside of a keep helping to take it (and succeeding) everyone in the world froze around me. After about a minute, I got kicked saying an unknown error has occurred. Now, every time I log back in and load into Cyrodiil, as soon as I get in, again the world around me is frozen and after about a minute I again, get kicked out because of an unknown error.Now I have an infinite load screen after the fourth time logging back in.
