In game email inbox full with no email. Can't get end of campaign rewards or anything else.

So, logged on today to pick up my end of campaign rewards and do the normal daily routine. But instead of getting the 5 daily emails from crafting assistants and the end of campaign rewards, I have an error message saying I need to empty my email box, which is already empty, so that I can receive more email. MY EMAIL BOX IS ALREADY EMPTY!
The series of failures and missteps from ZOS lately is awe inspiring. I want to be supportive of the game I've loved for 8 years, but it just keeps getting harder and harder in the face of so many critical issues like this one constantly popping up.
UPDATE: I was able to get my mail by swapping toons and receiving the mail on a toon other than the one that originally received the mail. So I didn't miss any rewards or anything.

✭✭✭✭I had this all morning on my 18 toons. I found that if I zoned, like stepping out of the front door of my character's home, then their mailbox sorted itself out and I could deal with the messages. The extended loading screen times from U33 did not help.PC EU1 -

✭I had the same issue. Currently it disappeared, but it might be back if I log on another character. There is something wrong with the mail system.1000+ CP
