Still, it was memorable. I remember how great it was to get my first mount in wow. Eso was way worst at first when you had to level mounts individually then got better with the current system.
Eso mounting skill is a chore, wow mounts were an achievement.

Cyrodiil, farming nodes, it makes a huge difference.
The design itself of a time gate is absurd and i think its a bad lazy design. Not needed and needs to be redone.

I don't mind a grind, but this is no grind by far. This is just a stupid time gated 'feature' in this game that holds no purpose.
What decent reason can one think of, to keep players from having useful mounts for this long?
It's just stupidly stupid.

What the secretly hidden super advantage of fully leveled riding skills?

Not getting dismounted in PvP unless you're riding forever and not once caring about your stamina pool.
Getting 60 extra inventory slots so your inner loot hoarder can carry more without the banker assistant, or if you need to carry siege, potions, food, extra sets, RP fun stuff, etc.
And move pretty fast wherever you need to be without trouble. Can go even slightly after after the Major Gallop buff with the Green CP star that makes you go faster while mounted.
Those things used to be tied TO THE INDIVIDUAL MOUNT.
Think about that, you buy a new horse, it's effectively useless for 60+ days.
But yes people in fact do spend money on it because they're impatient.
Yes the original system was that you mount had 50 upgrades. Speed stamina and inventory.Ragnarok0130 wrote: »Those things used to be tied TO THE INDIVIDUAL MOUNT.

Didn't we also have to feed mounts specific food to level up a specific attribute back at launch like apples? I don't miss the individual mount leveling at all, in fact I wish my mount level on my main applied to alts too at this point.
