It’d be fun to do a 2 man trial competitively like VMA or Vaterash… whatever. How fun would it be and what rewards do you think should be given upon completion? Maybe a new mythic or 5 piece gear set?

✭I'd love some two man content! I know you can do Dragonstar and Blackrose with two people, but it's not the same as something built and balanced around it. New mythics would be a cool reward, as well as dyes and maybe outfit style pages? Mount fragments for various vet achievements? I'd also like to see it be content that isn't just huge health bars or DPS/heal checks but mechanics that require communication and coordination. The Archivist Ernarde fight in vet Moon Hunter Keep is a good example of what I mean.PC NA, CP2200+. Character creation is the true endgame.0 -

✭✭Its something the devs would like to do, according to Rich Lambert on a stream some time ago. Interestingly, Maelstrom was initially intended to be a duo arena, but there were complications and they needed to can the idea at the time.0 -

We pretty much only pvp because it seems to be some of the only content that doesn't limit us for only wanting to duo. We can duo all the base game dungeons on vet, but the moment you try a dlc, it's a completely new ball game, and not necessarily in a fun challenging way and more of a "why are we doing this to ourselves" way.
My wife doesn't have much of an interest in running vMA or vVH because it's not something we get to do together. A duo arena would be an awesome addition.1 -

✭✭I would so love this. It can be so hard to find non-pug groups for 4-man content, especially considering different roles. A duo arena would be so cool and easy to jump into, and such a fun way to like get to know someone and make memories in-game.PC-NA

Not necessarily, The design could be much more interesting.
Imagine, if you will, a cage at the top of a cliff which counterbalances a door at the bottom.
Player 'A' gets in the cage which descends and opens the door but locks the cage.
Player 'B' fights their way down a path to the door and enters which locks the door open and sends the cage back up, Player 'A' then has to fight their way down another path to the door to join his friend.
Just one or two such mechanics would encourage people to team up with balanced characters maybe?0 -

Why separate the two players as that just makes it solo play and removes the purpose of having two players.
Having two players greatly restricts the design due to the lack of roles that can be involved. It is why the solo arena mechanics are much simpler and do less damage, than trials. Adding a second person does add much dimension to what can be done.0 -
Jusey1✭✭✭✭✭Honestly, would be nice if the next Arena is a duo one. The next Arena is going to be a special one for sure no matter how they go about it, since it will have the 6th Weapon Sets which would have to be for the weapon ultimates.0 -
