Please rethink zone design and delves for new content

    Apparently delves won't matter going forward because once you complete them once, you complete them on every character you'll ever have. Ever. So the only reason to go back is to pick up the Skyshard or do a daily because they'll no longer give exp.

    Same story for world bosses, dolmens, abyssal geysers etc.

    So I wouldn't expect them to rethink the design of delves at all.

    I just wish that they made delves and public dungeons harder (as in tankier bosses and mobs, similar to how they are in a normal 4 player dungeon). That way everyone can solo a delve or public dungeon while not being able to kill things within seconds.

    *SIGH* I already can't kill things in seconds anywhere in the game.... Plug 750+ ms into your conjecture, along with aging reflexes....

    Don't worry they way zos is heading you won't have any alts to level. You will just plop them out of nowhere at lvl 50 cp3600 have all skill points, classes and gear ready to wait in queue for a dungeon that you have already gotten all the achievements for or to go pvp against the 5 remaining players that havn't gotten emperor yet.

    That's my only objection to the delve size. I wish they didn't insist on taking you all throughout the entire delve every time for the daily. We're supposed to be doing these quests 30 times after all. These are just fetch quests so there's no need for them to traverse as much terrain as story quests that send you inside the delve. I think the story quests do benefit from the larger size though.

    So I wouldn't change the size persay, but make most of the daily quests in the first room with maybe one of the batch being to kill the boss of one of the delves, whichever is the least annoying to traverse the 30th time.

    I used to always fight my way back out of the delves for the extra XP, but I end up doing those chapter dailies for so freaking long now (and on multiple toons) that I just use the free travel to the inn room when done to turn in the daily.

    I don’t have the time or the patience for that anymore.

    I don’t mind the longer delves, and I do like pretty ones like Bloodrun Cave, but I wish it had lootables other than crappy provisioning crates, barrels, and sacks. It also has enemies every 2 steps which is not challenging but rather tedious.

    The only Blackwood delve I don't like is Bloodrun Cave. A bit too long, too many enemies, and one of the objectives for the daily that sends you there (Shadow Tactics) is next to a boss that, for some reason, is always up.

    And even that wouldn't be so bad if that boss didn't have annoying immunity phases.

    But yes, the lack of containers in most of the delves is a real issue.
