Mannequins For Housing, Yay or Nay?

Greetings Reader

For a few years now zos has been selling outfit slots, but we as players have lacked the ability to make use of more than one a time, thus reducing the incentive to actually buy them.

.hence why I propose these mannequins, they would be super simple to use, ya get one and place it in your house, upon the owner activating them they would be greeted with a small menu
-Copy Outfit > Copies the Current outfit style and dyes onto the manneuin
-Calabraite > Causes the Mannequin to match your characters hight/gender/race/body type (the fat/thin/muscle triangle location, not the sliders)
-Clear > Removes the current outfit and weapon styles from the mannequin, returning it to a defult wooden state
-Exit > exits the menu
Notes
if you edit an outfit the mannequin wearing said outfit gets reset to avoid issues/bugs
only the house owner can interact with the mannequins

They could be sold in the crown store in various poses, would offer more incentive and chances to show off outfits from slots and honestly all in all would be neat to actually have along side weapons racks...but those are another story entirely.

So my question to you dear reader is

Would you buy these?

    Yes please.

I actually wished companions were fully custamizable, and didnt have their vanilla casual outfit on all the time in houses.

If companions were fully customizable I could use them as Mannequins in housing, which would make them even more valuable for me atleast.

They'd have to prove to me that the damn mannequins wouldn't move around on their own like they did in Skyrim (where it took a combo of three addons to make them stand in one spot). Then I'd consider it.

No. I have 18 characters on my account. And instead of your manaquins I prefer all of them them as houseguests, with their inventory space (in my case most have 210 slots) and all items and gear, in my house for better inventory management without constantly having to switch between them.

Depends. The mannequin would clearly count against the house item totals. Would each item displayed also count against house item totals?

Stares at the results option when you can already see the results before voting.

Honestly, I'd rather buy them with gold or earn them with Tel'Var Stones or Writ Vouchers like you can the housing storage chests.

Meh, my idea for mannequins would be a little more robust. That said, since my house is at capacity, I don't really care about anything housing related at this point. Housing limits need drastically increased before I devote anymore resources to this system.

Didn't vote because whilst I would love to have them, I would want them available to earn in game.

I personally think ZoS are incredibly greedy with their Crown Store prices especially when it comes to anything housing related and I try wherever possible to avoid feeding that greed. ☹

As insinuated above it is perfectly possible to buy crown items with gold BUT if like me you play on PC-EU starting down that road would very soon wipe out even the healthiest ingame bank account. Exchange rates are horrendous!!

I would buy Mannequins, but not from the Crown Store. They should be an achievement furnishing for helping Percius Loche. Housing is over-monetized enough. FOMO expensive houses, constant crown store furnishing packs, recipes kept unreasonably rare but luckily for you that single item is available for purchase for crowns in your house. Even the stuff that isn't monetized is kept as massive time or gold sinks.

Let us have something nice for just a small amount of effort like every other type of player in the game. I'm really over how expensive housing is.

No, I'd prefer getting immersive generic wooden mannequins that are obtained for gold or such in game. Not weird looking clones.

Nor do I want anything that supports that awful and crown expensive "per character" outfit slots thing.

I'd be happy with some wooden mannequins that already have some predetermined costumes and armours on them.

Yes, I've always liked this idea more than the slots for saving and equipping outfits, but since slots exist, they wouldn't offer these cheaper and it probably could save only one preset for the same reason.

Yes if they don't look like creepy motionless copies of my chars, and have some animations. I could at least pretend my other toons are hanging out with each other.

No if they would be still as statues but still look like my chars. In that case, I'd prefer a wooden mannequin.

There have been post like this for years now. I don't understand why they don't want us to put our armor outfits on display in our homes....Then when we get home we can just swap the armor + outfit associated with that armor. Then maybe we could have more space in our chests...and actually display our armors to others...Our sets (they can't equip it of course) ...
