I’m another note only 3 of the skills actually deal damage on what is supposed to be the DPS line. I know wings gives minor berserk and netch gives sorcery/brutality, but these buffs are easily acquired elsewhere. I wonder if they should be readjusted to actually fulfill a DPS role. 3 skills that deal damage on a DPS line makes the line feel scarce.

but it's apparently criminal to want frost dps skills in winter's embrace even though we literally have the room for morphs to be changed around.

Personally, I don’t like how the warden and necro classes more have role specific lines when it should be more theme specific. In other classes, skills from one line can be morphed different meaningful ways. I would like plants to have options for healing (as they do), but also entangling vines and poison or bleed damage. Frost should also have dps options. I am not sure if or how I would change the animal skill line — I do think it’s nice that as it exists it has various damage, debuffs and buffs.

You’re not the first to consider Frost damage for bear along with other animal companions. However, then what happens to Northern Storm?

Polar Bear does sound nice I’ll agree, but I firmly believe that extra Frost options exist outside of the Warden animal skills. I think having one or two be Frost is ok. Maybe Bear and then Cliff Racer becomes a Frost Wraith but this would conflict with the Morrowind theme. But then what to do with Shalks and flies? Make them Frost too? I don’t agree with this although others do. I can see Shalks becoming Thunderbugs and Flies dealing Flame damage like their natural counterparts in the game. But then another question is raised? Will the community at large be happy with the loss of Magic Damage as an option for Warden. I guess this is easily solved with a poll… that is if people bother to vote or not.

That's is a class design flaws.
Warden is mostly associated with Norse. Northern Wind ult, bear as Ult..but it's not, it looks like a vinaigrette salad tbh.

Pet skill line is clearly Morrowind themed, then why Bear as Ult? Because it's a much more visually appealing option then Nix-Ox, Big Netch, Kagouti etc? I love bear, but it makes no sense...and if so I prefer to redisign this skill line to be Nord based(which perfectly fits Hunter theme), like Raven instead of Netch(without annoying laser beam), Hawk\Eagle or even Wolf instead of Cliff Racer with randomised attack direction, and maybe some Ice Wraiths instead of Bugs.
And in that case I'd probably changed Healing skill line from grassy to water, water is life, purity, so why not? Not to mention how well it fits with Ice theme.
Thus we have nice theme synergy with frost skill line and overall class theme.
