Limit to selling stolen goods

It would be nice if Pirri would let you sell beyond the normal limit (while still taking 30%), but since she has the same limit, she's pretty much useless.

For all the work that goes into getting Pirri, it's sad that she is more punishment than reward. She really does need to be fixed. A few lines of code and ZOS could make some very happy gamers without throwing things off too much.

And if you ask me, we do not need another uncapped source of gold throwing this games economy out of balance.

    [snip]
Given all the complaints about inflation and people saying we need more gold sinks, we do not need this. And that's coming from someone who really enjoys this form of game play.

I mean, I've only been playing for about three and a half years, but I fail to see any real inflation, especially inflation caused by too much gold being around.
There are things that keep getting more and more expensive, most notably perhaps Chromium platings. But that is an item that is (by design) extremely scarce, but since a lot of people seem to be wishing to upgrade their jewelry despite not being crafters, there is way more demand than supply for this stuff.

But I can't see everything becoming more and more expensive and gold completely losing all its value.

If you really want to annihilate the gold in circulation, I really wonder how this should work. Apart from having a tax that deletes 99 % of all gold from everybody's bank (guild and private), mail, chest and every single character's inventory and wherever else gold could possibly be every ten seconds, anything else would be bound to fail, especially in making those who already have a lot of gold and "good stuff" as poor as everybody else.

I'm also baffled by the limitation. I'm okay with a cap, but given how much the game has changed over the years, and prices have gone up thanks to new items being sold, the cap should be increased to 5x the current.

The new CP skills stacks with the TG and I'm taking full advantage of this, but it's just annoying to have to wait 24 hours for a timer restart.

I don't have much to sell despite my guild having a good location, so thieving is the *only* way I can amass gold just to turn and give it to someone selling a chest piece I need to complete my motif for 100,000 gold.

Can't make master crafter without spending millions in gold.

The limit isn't because of gold. The limit is to keep leveling in line with other skill lines. Instead of having to level through doing dailies there is a limit to how much you can fence and/or launder. If it were only about gold we would be able to launder all we want as that creates no gold with rare exceptions.

Farming Owned Containers and Fencing is a Gold Minting Machine. You can start earning right out of the Tutorial with one skill point.

Remove the Cap and you will see Bot Trains all over the place. In every city. Constantly.

So, no. Cap Needs to Stay.

    Besides, we have enough inflation.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

For rp purposes leave the limit in place. Fences can only have so much they can fence/launder. If this goes into place then I purpose that diminishing returns be applied to stolen items.

If the daily limit is truly 100% about limiting how fast you can level the skill line, they could always remove the cap once the skill line is maxed. But since that is not the case, my guess is - it is NOT only about the levelling process but also the gold acquisition. ;)

Just an after thought I had.....

They don't allow unlimited dailies once you level undaunted. You get your one dungeon and three pledges each day. Same for mages and fighters guilds. The limit is the same as a daily for the other lines.

Imho there is no point to cap the selling items quantity, first of all you wont be able to become millionaire doing only this. [...]

Thanks for saying that. This is how I got my millions too. Purely pickpocketing. No killing spree.
