Update: All 3 were unbanned.
My point here is that this is terrible customer service and killing a game I love. Most of my guild is likely moving to another game soon and that's unfortunate as I love ESO and ES history.
Get off your high horses. A lot of people were banned last night that didn't deserve it and they are being censored because the last thing needed is MORE BAD PRESS. GET IT?

Or ban the people who keep the RMT going and Profitable ..........As long as there is Profits to be made from Services that break rules or law ,there will be people willing to break rules and laws to sell services to make Profits .
Dear Chry, that's how MMOs are. *** happens all the time and they try to fix. Say a game will fail without it complete it's first year is absolutely ridiculous. The company indeed has a lot to learn and for that they need time. You likely run a small business, we are talking about a multi-million corporation with millions of customers, so you should now very well they don't give a *** because once your 200 members leave it won't matter, they have x times that amount left. Now whilst I do recognize as bad pratice, it is the standard pratice by those companies. That much said, MMO launch, big company, you should know where you stepped. At least they did a mistake trying to do the right thing.

There seems to still be some sweeping statements being made about those who have posted in this thread about being banned so here is a quick recap of the posts so far:
No. of posters reporting that they themselves or people they know have been been wrongly banned: 4
Total No. of players who have been reported as being banned incorrectly in this thread: 6
No. of those 6 players who were reported as being banned incorrectly who have now had those bans lifted with apologies from Zenimax and e-mails stating they did not break the ToS and CoC and that the ban was a mistake: 6
No. of players who were either posted about their friends being banned or were banned themselves calling for compensation: 0
No of players not directly involved suggesting those who were wrongly banned should get some form of compensation: 1
No of posters stating or hinting that those saying they have been banned are liars and deserved to be banned: 8
No. of those 8 posters who have since issued apologies despite e-mails from Zenimax exonerating those who were banned of any wrong doing: 0
So to be clear, everyone who was so far reported to have been banned in this thread has now been unbanned with clear e-mails from Zenimax stating that they were banned by mistake and had done nothing wrong.
Not one of the people wrongly banned has demanded any form of compensation.
Perhaps this will make things clearer for those who are still stating that those banned did something wrong, are nothing but whiners and are demanding compensation. And hopefully leave the thread free of noise, so should any other party have been banned accidentally, they can find the information/support they need to get the situation resolved.
If people were legitimately banned while not ever cheating I'm sorry. I don't exploit, cheat or break the TOS.

That's the point of this thread. You could be banned and if you are, when you come here to complain you'll be called an exploiter / cheater and told that you must have done something to get the ban.
That's the whole point.

Yet you persist with this vindictive agenda, which serves no purpose than to spite and snub ZOS and try to make them look bad as "payback", all based on YOUR WORD.

I suggest that rather than stirring up trouble you let them deal with the company themselves.
If upon investigation it turns out they WERE botting and exploiting, I praise ZOS and thank the divines they are gone for good. No offense.
EDIT: Also, please don't chorus about all the "poor legit customers" getting banned. I don't know anyone that wasn't botting, gold selling/buying, or exploiting that was banned, and I am in five guilds with over 1000 active members.
The people complaining loudest about the bans have been the people that deserved it, which is to be expected. That said, if it really was in error, let them dispute it through the channels available rather than making a public stink about it.

What you must learn is the concept of TACT. Even if your grievance was legitimate, which I am sorry but my instincts will not let me believe that it is, the way you have chosen to go about "solving" this issue is immature, inappropriate, spiteful, and rude, all of which casts doubt on your allegations.

Sorry, but the approach you have chosen lacks authority, lacks class.
You might disagree with a ticket for double parking, but if you spit in the police officer's eye and try to rally some tar and feathering mob against their family, it is your actions that appear more inappropriate.
Click support, click email, and put in a ticket. The people that receive it are the only ones that can help you or your friends. Do not continue this farce.
You only make yourself look bad.
