Nope. When I started a nightblade a while back and was standing in Stonefalls minding my own business at level 14 or something, someone whispered to me about what gear I was wearing and what I had in my quick slots. I was shocked. I didn't know it was possible to see that info about another player. They must have been using an addon that was maybe using a backdoor bug or something? Anyway, the player was saying detrimental things about the potions I had slotted (I had tri-potion slotted because I have zillions of them from login rewards, and for some reason this person took issue with that) and making suggestions about what pieces of gear to wear. This was intrusive and unwelcome. So no, don't want this.
(I just ignored them and they eventually went away, but it sort of ruined my play session that evening.)

Yes, remember it was an pol about raising gear level requirement and many wanted gear level higher than that dropped in the dungeon to be the requirement.Alinhbo_Tyaka wrote: »Sylvermynx wrote: »No thanks. Had that in WoW and RIFT, and it was a real problem - even when not grouped I occasionally got whispers denigrating my gear and so on. If they want to add it, it should be optional, and disabled by default.
I had similar experiences in open world WoW. I was also kicked from a dungeon once because my gear didn't meet their standards. The ironic part is it was that dungeon that dropped the gear they thought I should already have. What did they expect?
