Serious,

I cant do some dungeons because of the obscene ammount of Bots farming the same boss over and over and over. If Zmax want bots fine, but at least set the vanish delay of the corpses to 1 second. so we can at least not crash or loot the itens properly.

I really love this game, but those bots are really ruining my experience. I mean Come on, o payed 70 euros for this game!!!! + 15 euros Montly!!!!

    This is basically the reason I have cancelled my sub. Such a disappointment; I had been looking forward to this game for a good year. For such a high profile title with as much money as is involved, that this should be allowed to happen is simply unforgivable.

    They are either making too much money from handshake deals with gold farmers mass buying accounts on agreement they will turn a blind eye for long enough to recoup their investment, or they hired the most inept and unqualified programmers to handle pattern recognition and anti-botting security the industry has to offer.

    Either way, I'm done with it.

    This is the only game I have seen that has bots, ever !

    Thank goodness you took time to record a video and post it here. It is as unique as snow flake in Canada during December.

    I have played plenty of other MMOs and they have zero ( 0 ) bots. And should one try to bot, you just file a ticket and 5 GMs descend upon that bot within moments. They dont just ban him, they ban his ISP !

    Its clear Zos is getting hundreds if not thousand of dollars from Chinese farmers to finace their life of luxury !

    Untill this is fixed Im off to play F2P games, because in all reality if Im paying 15$ a month I want free stuff, free loot and epix droping from every second mob !

    You let bots, mostly in a few selected dungeons ruin your entire game experience. I found some bad milk in my fridge today, my whole life is ruined!

    Seriously though, if that's all it takes, then I'd say this game wasn't for you from the get go.

    Your computer DOESN'T crash because of the bots... it's crashing because it's overheating and isn't powerful enough for the stuff you're forcing it to do.

    That's what i said =) i can't barely see all the bots casting massive aoe spells with effects and tons of dead npc's body . My gaming computer have the min. req necessary to play ESO. But it cant handle 10/15 bots and more than 40 corpses of spiders and adds laying around on the ground.

    EVEN if my pc could properly handle it, how the hell i would complete the quest/achievement if i can't touch the add to kill it or loot it?

    You would pay 500€ for a mobile that dont have the 0 key on the keypad?

    I mean, you have all the other keys , why should you botter with the 0 key?

    That's the same reason i would like to complete the achievements for each zone. Since i payed 70€ to enjoy the "product" why should i bend over for then and allow bots to "dictate" what i should skip of the content or not?

    Also, if we had some massive waves of bot's on Cyrodiil would you say to players "Ahh... don't do Cyrodiil, dont let the bots there ruin your gaming experience, focus on pve and forget pvp"

    If some players are conformists good for then, since i dont s*** money, i'm not :)

    I'm not :)

    I'm a customer, not a bot. So if moderators close my topic would be a huge "Zenimax dont care about customers". This is a thread regarding asking for some attitude from Zenimax to handle the bot situation.

    Of course probably someone will say "unsub/stop complaining/etc..."

    But if every player not happy about bot's opens a thread about it, probably this would scale quickly. ( like they did on bank item duplication)

    I can see how bots are causing problems for you.
    But just for a moment think of it this way (hypothetical situation).
    What if all those bots were not bots but players?
    You would still have this problem, but now you would not have any bots to blame the problems on, would you come to the forums and complain about there being too many players in that area then?

    Perhaps it would be an idea to you upgrade before you start putting blame on ZOS.
    I would not be surprised if the issue is simply that your system is too weak to handle it all. in which case an upgrade would be worth doing.

    I have had problems with my computer going bluescreen as often as once or twice a day when playing, but I dont put the fault on ZOS because I know its pointless to fault others for problems on my end.
    While the bluescreen issue is an old one I have yet to find the cause for, I am not too bothered with it since I plan on getting a new system soon anyway.

    So my suggestion to you is that you spend a little bit of money to upgrade your system, I can guarantee you it will do wonders.

    If you run the game on minimum requirements only, then I would strongly recommend you upgrade before you start putting blame on ZOS.
    This should really be common sense, especially when running an MMO you should know that running it on minimum specs would cause problems as there will be times where there can be allot happening at once on the screen.

    That's why i don't do Cyrodiil. And i dont complain about it.

    I would upgrade my computer with all pleasure if i would like to experience massive pvp. But i would never spend more money to tolerate bots.


    I'm really impressed how more than 60% here are trying to tell me to move on and forget about the bots.

    I'm not letting bots win, Zenimax is. Bots basically are blocking what i decide to be fun for me.


    The only thing the bot's are doing is convincing me to save 15€ for now on and use my former "3h of gaming" to finally clean the backlog of movies.

    You have no idea how many bots those games have and how easy it is to do so :)

    @OP: so your PC crashes because there are 10-15 player and some boss corpses on your screeen ? :)

    lol, English is not my native language and i'm developing for 6h in a row, new lines are the daily meal for me heheh


    Main problem insn't the 15 players, but something is happening on the dungeons.

    Where eso doens't crashs ( 10 players or more ):
    • Populated cities
    • Bank
    • Crafting tables

    Where ESO crashs or freeze:

    Besides that, "when" eso doens't crash i'm not able to kill the boss since the bots kill it too fast.

    And... my pc ins't that bad, i can run Tomb Raider on max and Skyrim, with some heavy landscape mods + enb at 30fps

    Are you pushing the attack key over and over again, maybe it is a buffer overflow type situation? That is really the only likely difference in a dungeon boss encounter over just being in one of the banks (where there are likely 3-4 times the people).

    Hum... nop, one of the tests i did was before turn the corner where the bots and the corpses are, i changed to first person mode and aim to the ground and start walking to then. (fps was ok )

    At the moment i set my view to then, my fps dropped drastically ( around 10/15), and when the bots/players start to cast spells... Game freezes/ i restart the client and i really hope to log on again when they already killed the boss.

    I was in a dungeon yesterday and lucked out with no bots. Only problem was, 11 or 12 other people found the same thing. If the bots get cleared out you are going to face the same issue with real people there. You will still need to fix your computer or get a new game. Right now a lot of real people are avoiding the dungeons because of the bots and will be swooping in if they feel they are only competing with real players. Either that or skip dungeons and other places that are enclosed and attract a lot of players using abilities.

    Sorry but I really find that hard to believe, pretty sure everybody else does too. To say you've never seen a bot in any other game....

    I think what he meant is that he never saw a game where bots have so much impact on your gameplay.

    I mean, on W*** o* W*** there was some on BG's but since i dont do pvp that never had any impact on me.
