People are terribly ungrateful. ZOS releases a hotfix almost immediately after noticing a rather serious bug - oh no, I don't want to reallocate my CP again. ZOS doesn't fix something immediately - oh no, how can you delay fixing something so important for so long!
Despite the fact that I will have to reallocate CP on 18 characters I appreciate their promptness in fixing bugs. Thanks! @ZOS_Kevin

Data.Well one thing is the cp reset, but why do they need 2 hours to roll the fix on....

No exploit -- I logged in to finish setting up an armory slot started yesterday and I had 65k cp. It just happens.

Before you say such things, you might want to make sure you know how this bug happens. Because if you knew that, you would probably say 'Yep, ZOS just had to screw around... again.' Also, don't forget this bug was already mentioned during testing on PTS.
This bug just happend by using the armory:No exploit -- I logged in to finish setting up an armory slot started yesterday and I had 65k cp. It just happens.
You can't ban people for playing a game with spaghetti code.

No, people are annoyed it was allowed to go live in the first place. If I let software go out with bugs like this in I would soon be out of a job. It's called testing!
tbh I can't be bothered to reset CP. I'll take a break instead and do something else.

You can ban people for spending the points and using them.
That's where the "exploit" comes in. You know, the thing that's against the EULA and TOS of every online game out there?
That thing.

It's 100% ZOS fault, especially if that was showed in PTS. Instead fixing this critical bug then, they waited and now they can instant hot fix but at cost of forced respec. I know that there is no time for fix everything but they should know that's something serious. I'm angry because of that I have to deal with all my 14 characters...

for a software engineer i'm surprised you aren't aware of the fact that bugs don't always manifest during testing. that sometimes on the development side, everything looks good, then it goes client side and you get weird code interactions that didn't happen during testing. it happens, a lot. especially with games.
coding is not an exact science.

Eh... no.
Some people might have overspent a few points, figured out what was going on and didn't do it again after they zoned.
That's a bug.
A lot of players figured it out and went on overspending sprees in trial zones and did it in dungeons, etc. Over and over.
That's an exploit.
Those players should be banned. Period. No excuses.

The good news is that by the time the console patches come, this bug will be squashed and no forced Respec needed.

2100CP
15 characters
Have to re-do every already saved armory build as well, as CPs are reset in builds too
Logout time + Requesting character login + Loading times + Porting home
Then remaking each armory loadout from scratch
Then porting back to where they belong.
+ Have to rethink on starts and what suits each char, not mindless clicking
