It is impossible to live in EU and play an online game without lags on US based server, it is just impossible. It is going against the laws of physics, unless you change existing cables to some new cables with higher bandwidth.
Whoever's idea was to keep EU megaserver in US should be fired in my opinion. When I found out that EU megaserver is going to be in US I knew we are going to lag, everybody knew it, except of TESO team.
I understand that you made some kind of system for us to feel that lag less, but this is only an illusion, when we come to actual fight we feel every bit of this lag. There is a physical distance between EU and US and you cannot shorten it with some coding tricks.
You cast a CC spell and it does not cast, you click again and again and then you see it casting twice, you spend magicka that you did not want to spend it twice, you wanted to cast this CC only once. And then when you do not have enough magicka to cast damage dealing skills, you are dead.
People are not mobs, you never know what is their next step, you cannot expect to know what to cast in advance.
Those micro seconds are so important in pvp, when to break CC when to cast CC, when to mist, when to teleport, when to use healing potion, block, roll... There are so many things in our arsenal, but instead the most successful pvp's are just clicking 1 damage dealing button on a range class, 1-1-1-1-1 dead.. No skill, no lag this way.
And what about Vampire drain? I have to click it sooo many times to make it work at least once?
For the sake of test, I was doing a fight with full HP and was trying to cast this drain and I died before I could do it at least once, my opponent kept hitting and hitting me and I was standing(not cc'ed) and was clicking this drain. It works absolutely random.
Now there is another problem, that is UI.
This game is great, it has the potential to become the number 1 mmorpg game with awesome pvp, but what you are doing now is creating a terrible image of this game for whoever is trying it.
I understand that it is very new and there are many things to fix now, but this was supposed to be one of the most important things that you should of planned ahead - the User Interface.
1- There are no proper descriptions of what skill does what, no descriptions of passives, no descriptions of mundus effects(detailed in%/number). Cmon there are even some passives that are not mentioned anywhere? How am I supposed to know what else is there?
I never played Elder Scrolls singe player version and then I accidentally find out that when I crouch and hit mob with a melee attack from behind I get a some kind of 3x damage multiplier?
2- You do not display Long term Buff Debuff, you do not display short term Buff/Debuff.
You need to sit and re-think of what is PvP, consult with some players if you do not know something. You cannot expect a game to be a good PvP game when you FORGET to display simple Buffs/Debuffs.
Now we have to download those add-ons and hope that they work, I know there are some good addons, but they are not doing the job, I guess they cannot have a complete accurate info of all buffs/debuffs for some reason.
Buff Menus that you have in "C" panel looks like menus from games decades ago. Sometimes buffs are there, sometimes not. Sometimes you see some new passives there, sometimes not.
The health bars are horrible too, I think it is impossible to do a proper PvP with UI that you offered to us.
I hope some of the developers read this and hopefully take a new path on updating this game and giving it a proper future that it deserves.
For now it looks like you made a PvE game and did not bother much about PvP.
