Buying a Mount for a friend Still get you banned ?

Will i get banned for giving my cousin some gold to buy his first mount i know people in the past have gotten banned for trading money to characters directly? i only want to buy him the cheapest mount any details would be appreciated

ijRoberts✭✭✭Just send the gold in smaller sums. $5k increments. I've only ever heard people getting banned for larger than $20k. But, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.0 -
Why the HELL are you getting banned AT ALL!? EVERYTHING in this game takes ridiculous sums of gold as is.. and if you dont have a name like ADSHDGHGHS, you should be able to trade with your friends no problem. Just another reason I am super grateful I cancelled my account to this crapfest game..1

Because it is easier to BAN then to actually investigate the issue properly.

Why is that bannable? Large sum trading? I've come close to giving my brother 20k for his bank upgrade since I spend way more time online than him. Glad I didn't..0

VonMourn✭ZMO staff are overwhelmed and so just taking the easy way out on most problems in an attempt to handle the issues. Huge problems with gold farmers after they denied it would be a problem? Just ban money transfers between characters without an investigation! Takes little time and who cares if it affects people playing legit.

jorj82✭sure they may be taking the easy way out, but they're probably understaffed and overworked with this BRAND NEW GAME. just like the few innocent people who were banned during the attempted bot-purge, if you appeal the ban it will be lifted. nothing to worry about as long as you're patient

no reason for ZOS to understaff the team on a subscription game. I seem to remember Hines telling us all how it would be a AAA with AAA support. So they ought to be squeaky clean in the staffing levels. Unless a PR figure in the game industry lied, which is unthinkable.0 -

It's not ZOS banning player for trading gold, it are bots.
The bots autoban any person that trades a large sum of gold, because they are programmed to think that anyone who does so is a goldseller.

Gold sellers, mostly. People giving out large sums of gold tend to get flagged as possibly doing something not good. Trading items for gold, or sending smaller amounts doesn't seem to set off the flags.
