Please Add a Toggle for the New Gamepad/PC UI Changes

Please add an option to just opt out of these changes. Or streamline it a little more. I’m getting constant delays and having to double-click a lot more than I do live. And the chat window now being on the right is not what I expected nor wanted. I like the keyboard&mouse chat window much more as it’s smaller, and I can toggle between tabs.

Seriously. And it just takes up way more space that the keyboard ui one. Granted, it does do / commands, but I can't toggle between tabs that do and don't have guild/zone chats. I use those tabs to reduce chat clutter during trials, dungeons, and arenas. ✭✭✭✭I'm sure others have as well, but I use the keyboard commands to open Inventory, skills, you name it. The constant switching between keyboard and gamepad controls causes the game to not even register what I'm pressing. For example: I go to inventory by pressing I and switch items around. Then I go to Skills with K. Or try to. As the game is trying to switch between both me using the gamepad to scroll and me pressing keys, it won't register me pressing K unless I press it several times. ✭✭✭Please allow gamepadui on PC to use the keyboard text chat! This is absolutely NO way I can clearly see all my chats in this box. The text entry is too large, and I can't resize the box! Even in keyboard UI on PTS, I cannot resize my chat window to it's current dimensions on live!

I don't use chat addons and I also hate this change. The main issue for me is lack of tabs. The all or nothing chat is awful, having to wade through zone to see what my group is saying.
Why they would take away functionality is beyond me. Give us gamepad users a the choice like it used to be.0 -
I personally would like the option to toggle. I don't use the chat that much (and don't use any related addons) and I play with a controller and actually quite like the gamepad UI and chat window - for me the "black box" in the corner is more intrusive and prefer a more complete and consistent UI feel rather than mixed.0
