I would recommend going to craglorn and finding pugs doing nCR to get Siroria and going to nMaelstrom Arena to get a Mealstrom Inferno Destro. A teaching Trials guild will help a ton too. Having proper pve sets will be a good bump to your dps. Unfortunately, the higher the DPS the faster the burn and a lot of people in this world are not patient especially on randoms.

IMHO, it's average for single target on a random vet dungeon. If he's being kicked, it's likely something other than DPS, (eg: our static 4th just logged in). I generally don't worry about DPS in a random vet until the party total dips below 50k. Some, like Dread Cellar, can be incredibly easy with very high party dps (100k+) and absurdly hard with lower (3Hs of endless wipes harder ><) even if you do know the mechs.SimonThesis wrote: »You're DPS is a little low.

I'm genuinely curious, as I pull 25-30k self buffed on 3m dummy, and I have been kicked from several dungeons without explanation.
For a point of comparison, my wife does 7-11k DPS self buffed on the same dummy, and has never been kicked.
We both know mechanics as well.
Mostly interested in hearing a suggested number, and I welcome your own experiences in the Veteran queue as well!

I can't elaborate on why people may have kicked you, as I wasn't there.
Perhaps it's because there are many people who believe you *need* to be pulling 70k minimum.
But 70k DPS is not necessary even for vet DLC trials. You can clear vet DLC trials with 30k-40k DPS. You might not get trifectas, but you'll clear.
25k-30k is about what I pull as well in vet DLC dungeons, and I've never had much problem with burn.

This is very true. We had 3 guildies and a pugrump. We were discussing kicking in discord with the general consensus being we should help instead when the grump put up a kick vote for a guidie and we all voted YES reflexively, thinking it was a kick FROM a guidie that got fed up.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »don't think that because you've been kicked, it means that 3 people took the time to think about it and approve of it. Also, an important thing to keep in mind: The key to confirm a ready check is the same key that agrees to a votekick.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »Also, don't think that because you've been kicked, it means that 3 people took the time to think about it and approve of it. Imo your dps is fine, but only if your rotation is something you can consistently do on demand in an actual fight.
