However... where is the love for Shock Mages?
I just hopped on the PTS and the new morph of Frost Reach deals higher damage than BOTH Shock Reach AND Shock Clench! And this is even with those Shock Damage abilities buffed by the new 10% Ancient Knowledge passive to AoE damage.
To make matters even worse, Shock Clench is still limited to the tiny range of 15 meters despite not having any CC component tied to it, which is the usual justification for such short ranges. It is thus weaker along two different axes and is inferior to Frost Reach in every possible way.
This is simply unacceptable. Shock Mages do not have a spammable of their own and are now clearly established as the forgotten archetype among elemental damage dealers. Please rectify this situation.
What class are you checking these on? and what are their CP allocations?

Magicka Necromancer with CP un-slotted, no buffs active, and no worn sets that would make a difference either way.

Combat request here for Battlegrounds.
Can we pleave have the ability to que specifically for Deathmatch game seperate to Objective (Flag/Relic/Chaos)?
The BG Forum area has been asking for this for months with no response/feedback, could we get some open communication here from yourself or Kevin.
I noticed nothing flagged for this on PTS yet.

If it's as popular as some of the loudest voices seem to think that it is then surely it wouldn't have trouble fielding a healthy population....
People don't play in Ravenwatch because they don't like sets. They play there because they don't like CP. Yet we're the ones getting punished to appease a vocal minority of the PvP population.

I guess they are still fine as PvE tanks but you have to see the polling by yourself, ZOS. It's not only from a few extremely good or extremely bad players, but the collective polling. (Mostly PvP related)

I do not aggree with the changes to light and medium armor.
Both traditionnaly have been linked to magicka or stamina, and even after these changes they will still be.
They still grant cost reduction and recovery to their respected stats, meaning if you want to run light armor on a stamina toon, you will be missing out on a huge amount of sustain, and vice versa.
Not to mention this makes exactly 0 sense from a lore perspective.
Leather/medium armor has traditionally always been linked to martial types in ES games, while light/cloth was linked to spellcasting.
These changes wont make me want to run light armor on my stamplar for pve or pvp.
It might make some (or many) people run medium armor on magicka toons, beacuse medium armor has no downsides(other than losing sustain over light, which is easy to negate).
Please reconsider.

I'm already off-meta for being an Imperial, running mainly 2H as I prefer them aesthetically, then taking away our already low Crit Chance when I was already compensating for penetration is VERY discouraging for me to continue playing a Stamina character in PVE situations. It's like telling me to just switch to a High Elf Mag Necromancer, I bring NOTHING to trial teams other than already subpar damage.
And yes, I just had to restore my forum account just to voice out my opinion as it was frustrating enough to warrant so.
I threw on some gear on my magplar test toon for pts:
The new blacklash has some okay scaling, definetly lower than expected, however the fact that its 50% dmg copied will definetly makes it worth.
For reference: with 6.2k spell damage it had a maximum value of around 22k. Thats decent, and it will allow magplars to focus more on spell damage and still scale this skill well.
But the big winner here is stampar. I cant remember the last time i had more than 25k stam on any of my stamplar builds, and so this is a huge power up, both for pve and pvp.
